But Peter said,“ Not so, Lord! For I have never eaten anything common or unclean.”

彼得却说：“主啊，绝对不可！凡污俗和不洁净的东西，我从来没有吃过。”

彼得却说：“主啊，绝对不可！凡污俗和不洁净的东西，我从来没有吃过。”

彼得却说：“主啊！这可不行！我从未吃过任何污秽不洁之物。”

彼得说：“主啊，千万不可！我从来不吃俗物和不洁的东西。”

彼得却说：“主啊，千万不可！因为我从来没有吃过任何俗物和不洁净的东西。”

彼得卻說：「主啊，這是不可的！凡俗物和不潔淨的物，我從來沒有吃過。」

彼得卻說：「主啊，絕對不可！凡污俗和不潔淨的東西，我從來沒有吃過。」

彼得卻說：「主啊，絕對不可！凡污俗和不潔淨的東西，我從來沒有吃過。」

彼得卻說：「主啊！這可不行！我從未吃過任何污穢不潔之物。」

彼得說：“主啊，千萬不可！我從來不吃俗物和不潔的東西。”

彼得說：『主啊，千萬不可；因為各樣俗污不潔淨之物、我從來沒有喫過。』

彼得卻說：「主啊，千萬不可！因為我從來沒有吃過任何俗物和不潔淨的東西。」

曰、主、不然、俗物及不潔者、我未嘗食焉、

彼得曰、主、不可、俗物不潔、我未嘗食、

彼得曰、主歟、斷乎不可、凡俗物與不潔之物、我從未食也、

伯鐸祿曰：『主、不可、俗物不潔、我未嘗食也。』

“ Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied.“ I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.”

“ No, Lord! I will not!” Peter replied.“ I have never eaten anything that is not pure and‘ clean.’ ”

But Peter said,“ By no means, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean.”

“ No, Lord,” Peter declared.“ I have never eaten anything that our Jewish laws have declared impure and unclean.”

“ No, Lord!” Peter said.“ For I have never eaten anything impure and ritually unclean.”

But Peter said,“ By no means, Lord, for I have never eaten anything unholy and unclean.”

But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common and unclean.

“ No, Lord!” Peter said.“ For I have never eaten anything common and ritually unclean!”

But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.

But Peter said,“ Certainly not, Lord, for I have never eaten anything defiled and ritually unclean!”

But Peter said,“ Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean.”

You shall therefore distinguish between clean animals and unclean, between unclean birds and clean, and you shall not make yourselves abominable by beast or by bird, or by any kind of living thing that creeps on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.

So I said,“ Ah, Lord GOD! Indeed I have never defiled myself from my youth till now; I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has abominable flesh ever come into my mouth.”

Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying,“ Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!”

Not so! Go now, you who are men, and serve the Lord, for that is what you desired.” And they were driven out from Pharaoh’s presence.

“ You are the children of the Lord your God; you shall not cut yourselves nor shave the front of your head for the dead.For you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.“ You shall not eat any detestable thing.These are the animals which you may eat: the ox, the sheep, the goat,the deer, the gazelle, the roe deer, the wild goat, the mountain goat, the antelope, and the mountain sheep.And you may eat every animal with cloven hooves, having the hoof split into two parts, and that chews the cud, among the animals.Nevertheless, of those that chew the cud or have cloven hooves, you shall not eat, such as these: the camel, the hare, and the rock hyrax; for they chew the cud but do not have cloven hooves; they are unclean for you.Also the swine is unclean for you, because it has cloven hooves, yet does not chew the cud; you shall not eat their flesh or touch their dead carcasses.“ These you may eat of all that are in the waters: you may eat all that have fins and scales.And whatever does not have fins and scales you shall not eat; it is unclean for you.“ All clean birds you may eat.But these you shall not eat: the eagle, the vulture, the buzzard,the red kite, the falcon, and the kite after their kinds;every raven after its kind;the ostrich, the short-eared owl, the seagull, and the hawk after their kinds;the little owl, the screech owl, the white owl,the jackdaw, the carrion vulture, the fisher owl,the stork, the heron after its kind, and the hoopoe and the bat.“ Also every creeping thing that flies is unclean for you; they shall not be eaten.“ You may eat all clean birds.“ You shall not eat anything that dies of itself; you may give it to the alien who is within your gates, that he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner; for you are a holy people to the Lord your God.“ You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.“ You shall truly tithe all the increase of your grain that the field produces year by year.And you shall eat before the Lord your God, in the place where He chooses to make His name abide, the tithe of your grain and your new wine and your oil, of the firstborn of your herds and your flocks, that you may learn to fear the Lord your God always.But if the journey is too long for you, so that you are not able to carry the tithe, or if the place where the Lord your God chooses to put His name is too far from you, when the Lord your God has blessed you,then you shall exchange it for money, take the money in your hand, and go to the place which the Lord your God chooses.And you shall spend that money for whatever your heart desires: for oxen or sheep, for wine or similar drink, for whatever your heart desires; you shall eat there before the Lord your God, and you shall rejoice, you and your household.You shall not forsake the Levite who is within your gates, for he has no part nor inheritance with you.“ At the end of every third year you shall bring out the tithe of your produce of that year and store it up within your gates.And the Levite, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you, and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who are within your gates, may come and eat and be satisfied, that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

His mother answered and said,“ No; he shall be called John.”

But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

And he said,“ Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said,“ I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”

Then he said to them,“ You know how unlawful it is for a Jewish man to keep company with or go to one of another nation. But God has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

But the wise answered, saying,‘ No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’

Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying to them,“ Speak to the children of Israel, saying,‘ These are the animals which you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth:Among the animals, whatever divides the hoof, having cloven hooves and chewing the cud— that you may eat.Nevertheless these you shall not eat among those that chew the cud or those that have cloven hooves: the camel, because it chews the cud but does not have cloven hooves, is unclean to you;the rock hyrax, because it chews the cud but does not have cloven hooves, is unclean to you;the hare, because it chews the cud but does not have cloven hooves, is unclean to you;and the swine, though it divides the hoof, having cloven hooves, yet does not chew the cud, is unclean to you.Their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch. They are unclean to you.‘ These you may eat of all that are in the water: whatever in the water has fins and scales, whether in the seas or in the rivers— that you may eat.But all in the seas or in the rivers that do not have fins and scales, all that move in the water or any living thing which is in the water, they are an abomination to you.They shall be an abomination to you; you shall not eat their flesh, but you shall regard their carcasses as an abomination.Whatever in the water does not have fins or scales— that shall be an abomination to you.‘ And these you shall regard as an abomination among the birds; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, the vulture, the buzzard,the kite, and the falcon after its kind;every raven after its kind,the ostrich, the short-eared owl, the sea gull, and the hawk after its kind;the little owl, the fisher owl, and the screech owl;the white owl, the jackdaw, and the carrion vulture;the stork, the heron after its kind, the hoopoe, and the bat.‘ All flying insects that creep on all fours shall be an abomination to you.Yet these you may eat of every flying insect that creeps on all fours: those which have jointed legs above their feet with which to leap on the earth.These you may eat: the locust after its kind, the destroying locust after its kind, the cricket after its kind, and the grasshopper after its kind.But all other flying insects which have four feet shall be an abomination to you.‘ By these you shall become unclean; whoever touches the carcass of any of them shall be unclean until evening;whoever carries part of the carcass of any of them shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening:

The priests shall not eat anything, bird or beast, that died naturally or was torn by wild beasts.

Then Lot said to them,“ Please, no, my lords!
