I am not speaking about all of you. I know the ones whom I have chosen; but this is happening so that the Scripture may be fulfilled,‘ He who eats My bread has lifted up his heel against Me.’

Come near to Me, listen to this: From the beginning I have not spoken in secret, From the time it took place, I was there. And now the Lord God has sent Me, and His Spirit.”

“ A Redeemer will come to Zion, And to those in Jacob who turn from wrongdoing,” declares the Lord.“ As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord:“ My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the Lord,“ from now and forever.”

Jesus, knowing that the Father had handed all things over to Him, and that He had come forth from God and was going back to God,

having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone,

For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.

When the days were approaching for His ascension, He was determined to go to Jerusalem;

I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father.”

While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven.

who is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, after angels and authorities and powers had been subjected to Him.

Now before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus, knowing that His hour had come that He would depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.

For Christ did not enter a holy place made by hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;

Therefore it says,“ When He ascended on high, He led captive the captives, And He gave gifts to people.”( Now this expression,“ He ascended,” what does it mean except that He also had descended into the lower parts of the earth?He who descended is Himself also He who ascended far above all the heavens, so that He might fill all things.)

“ Behold, My Servant, whom I uphold; My chosen one in whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the nations.

But now I am coming to You; and these things I speak in the world so that they may have My joy made full in themselves.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord anointed me To bring good news to the humble; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim release to captives And freedom to prisoners;

What then if you see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before?

The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’ ”

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond servant John,

and they said,“ Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”

God raised Him up on the third day and granted that He be revealed,not to all the people, but to witnesses who had been chosen beforehand by God, that is, to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead.And He ordered us to preach to the people, and to testify solemnly that this is the One who has been appointed by God as Judge of the living and the dead.

And He said to them,“ Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.The one who has believed and has been baptized will be saved; but the one who has not believed will be condemned.These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

But if I cast out the demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Paul, an apostle( not sent from men nor through human agency, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead),

Jesus* said to her,“ Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brothers and say to them,‘ I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.’ ”

And the wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I will grant to eat from the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.’

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and reliable and one which enters within the veil,where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

The apostles* gathered together with Jesus; and they reported to Him all that they had done and taught.

Jesus answered them,“ Did I Myself not choose you, the twelve? And yet one of you is a devil.”

Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures,and He said to them,“ So it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day,and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.You are witnesses of these things.And behold, I am sending the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”

And He appointed twelve, so that they would be with Him and that He could send them out to preach,and to have authority to cast out the demons.And He appointed the twelve: Simon( to whom He gave the name Peter),James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James( to them He gave the name Boanerges, which means,“ Sons of Thunder”);and Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, and Simon the Zealot;and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him.

After He was baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and settling on Him,

Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every sickness.Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and his brother Andrew; and James the son of Zebedee, and his brother John;Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, the one who also betrayed Him.

And when day came, He called His disciples to Him and chose twelve of them, whom He also named as apostles:Simon, whom He also named Peter, and his brother Andrew; and James and John; and Philip and Bartholomew;and Matthew and Thomas; James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon who was called the Zealot;Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.

Beyond question, great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, Was vindicated in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Proclaimed among the nations, Believed on in the world, Taken up in glory.

When they had entered the city, they went up to the upstairs room where they were staying, that is, Peter, John, James, and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James.

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

to remember the words spoken beforehand by the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior spoken by your apostles.

For He whom God sent speaks the words of God; for He does not give the Spirit sparingly.

The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and a new name written on the stone which no one knows except the one who receives it.’
