“ Men and brethren, this Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus;

「各位弟兄，那段經文是必須應驗的，就是聖靈藉著大衛的口所預言有關猶大的事。這猶大，領人抓了耶穌；

曰、兄弟乎、聖神以大衛之口預言、引人執耶穌之猶大、此經得驗、宜也、

兄弟乎、昔聖神以大闢口、預言引執耶穌之猶大、其經已應、

兄弟、昔聖神以大衛口預言引人執耶穌之猶大、其經應驗宜也、

『兄弟乎！聖神假大維之口、預言茹達斯引捕耶穌、此經已見應驗；

and said,“ Brothers and sisters, the Scripture had to be fulfilled in which the Holy Spirit spoke long ago through David concerning Judas, who served as guide for those who arrested Jesus.

Peter said,“ Brothers and sisters, a long time ago the Holy Spirit spoke through David. He spoke about Judas Iscariot. What the Scripture said would happen had to come true. Judas was the guide for the men who arrested Jesus.

“ Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke beforehand by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus.

“ Brothers,” he said,“ the Scriptures had to be fulfilled concerning Judas, who guided those who arrested Jesus. This was predicted long ago by the Holy Spirit, speaking through King David.

“ Brothers and sisters, it was necessary that the Scripture be fulfilled that the Holy Spirit through the mouth of David foretold about Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus.

“ Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit foretold by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus.

Brethren, it was needful that the scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spake before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who was guide to them that took Jesus.

“ Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled that the Holy Spirit through the mouth of David spoke in advance about Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus.

Men[ and] brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.

“ Brothers, the scripture had to be fulfilled that the Holy Spirit foretold through David concerning Judas– who became the guide for those who arrested Jesus–

Even my own familiar friend in whom I trusted, Who ate my bread, Has lifted up his heel against me.

“ I do not speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled,‘ He who eats bread with Me has lifted up his heel against Me.’

For it is not an enemy who reproaches me; Then I could bear it. Nor is it one who hates me who has exalted himself against me; Then I could hide from him.But it was you, a man my equal, My companion and my acquaintance.We took sweet counsel together, And walked to the house of God in the throng.Let death seize them; Let them go down alive into hell, For wickedness is in their dwellings and among them.

that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke:“ Lord, who has believed our report? Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:“ Today, if you will hear His voice,Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness,

And while He was still speaking, behold, Judas, one of the twelve, with a great multitude with swords and clubs, came from the chief priests and elders of the people.

Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins;

Then Paul, looking earnestly at the council, said,“ Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.”

But when Paul perceived that one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council,“ Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee; concerning the hope and resurrection of the dead I am being judged!”

But all this was done that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples forsook Him and fled.

How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen thus?”

“ The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me, And His word was on my tongue.

searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow.

For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.

“ Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne,he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption.

“ For it is written in the book of Psalms:‘ Let his dwelling place be desolate, And let no one live in it’; and,‘ Let another take his office.’

Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles,“ Men and brethren, what shall we do?”

After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said,“ I thirst!”Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth.So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said,“ It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled,“ Not one of His bones shall be broken.”

So when they did not agree among themselves, they departed after Paul had said one word:“ The Holy Spirit spoke rightly through Isaiah the prophet to our fathers,

“ Brethren and fathers, hear my defense before you now.”

If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came( and the Scripture cannot be broken),

And it came to pass after three days that Paul called the leaders of the Jews together. So when they had come together, he said to them:“ Men and brethren, though I have done nothing against our people or the customs of our fathers, yet I was delivered as a prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans,

And Judas, who betrayed Him, also knew the place; for Jesus often met there with His disciples.Then Judas, having received a detachment of troops, and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons.Jesus therefore, knowing all things that would come upon Him, went forward and said to them,“ Whom are you seeking?”They answered Him,“ Jesus of Nazareth.” Jesus said to them,“ I am He.” And Judas, who betrayed Him, also stood with them.Now when He said to them,“ I am He,” they drew back and fell to the ground.Then He asked them again,“ Whom are you seeking?” And they said,“ Jesus of Nazareth.”Jesus answered,“ I have told you that I am He. Therefore, if you seek Me, let these go their way,”

And after the reading of the Law and the Prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent to them, saying,“ Men and brethren, if you have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.”

And immediately, while He was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, with a great multitude with swords and clubs, came from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.

who by the mouth of Your servant David have said:‘ Why did the nations rage, And the people plot vain things?The kings of the earth took their stand, And the rulers were gathered together against the Lord and against His Christ.’“ For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered togetherto do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done.

“ Men and brethren, sons of the family of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to you the word of this salvation has been sent.For those who dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they did not know Him, nor even the voices of the Prophets which are read every Sabbath, have fulfilled them in condemning Him.And though they found no cause for death in Him, they asked Pilate that He should be put to death.Now when they had fulfilled all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb.

Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death;

And when there had been much dispute, Peter rose up and said to them:“ Men and brethren, you know that a good while ago God chose among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe.

And he said,“ Brethren and fathers, listen: The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Haran,

For David himself said by the Holy Spirit:‘ The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”’

And after they had become silent, James answered, saying,“ Men and brethren, listen to me:

And while He was still speaking, behold, a multitude; and he who was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them and drew near to Jesus to kiss Him.
