Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity.Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.Then I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you.

When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter,“ Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”“ Yes, Lord,” he said,“ you know that I love you.” Jesus said,“ Feed my lambs.”Again Jesus said,“ Simon son of John, do you love me?” He answered,“ Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said,“ Take care of my sheep.”The third time he said to him,“ Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time,“ Do you love me?” He said,“ Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said,“ Feed my sheep.

When they heard this, they praised God. Then they said to Paul:“ You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews have believed, and all of them are zealous for the law.

But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy.

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

Because of this, the rumor spread among the believers that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say that he would not die; he only said,“ If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?”

He told them another parable:“ The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field.
