后来一时显给五百多弟兄看，其中一大半到如今还在，却也有已经睡了的。

求你掩面不看我的罪，涂抹我一切的罪孽。神啊，求你为我造清洁的心，使我里面重新有正直的灵。不要丢弃我，使我离开你的面；不要从我收回你的圣灵。求你使我仍得救恩之乐，赐我乐意的灵扶持我，我就把你的道指教有过犯的人，罪人必归顺你。

我向你陈明我的罪，不隐瞒我的恶。我说：“我要向耶和华承认我的过犯。”你就赦免我的罪恶。细拉为此，凡虔诚人都当趁你可寻找的时候祷告你；大水泛溢的时候，必不能到他那里。

正在那时候，地大震动，城就倒塌了十分之一，因地震而死的有七千人；其余的都恐惧，归荣耀给天上的神。

他们听见，就归荣耀与神，对保罗说：“兄台，你看犹太人中信主的有多少万，并且都为律法热心。

但我已经为你祈求，叫你不至于失了信心。你回头以后，要坚固你的弟兄。”

然而在撒狄，你还有几名是未曾污秽自己衣服的，他们要穿白衣与我同行，因为他们是配得过的。

我实实在在地告诉你们，我所做的事，信我的人也要做，并且要做比这更大的事，因为我往父那里去。

于是这话传在弟兄中间，说那门徒不死。其实，耶稣不是说他不死，乃是说：“我若要他等到我来的时候，与你何干？”

他又设个比喻对他们说：“天国好像一粒芥菜种，有人拿去种在田里。
