他們唱完詩歌，就出門去了橄欖山。

耶穌正坐在橄欖山上，門徒私下來問祂：「請告訴我們，這事什麼時候會發生？你再來和世界末日的時候會有什麼預兆？」

耶穌每天在聖殿裡講道，晚上則到城外的橄欖山上過夜。

到那天，祂的腳必踏在耶路撒冷東面的橄欖山上，這山必從東至西分成兩半，一半向北移，一半向南移，中間形成極大的山谷。

伯大尼離耶路撒冷不遠，大約只有三公里的路，
