救我脫離猛獅之口、脫離野牛之角、望主應允我、

當謹守警醒、爾敵即魔、如吼獅遍行、覓可吞噬之人、

我欲兄弟知我所遇之事、更有益於福音、蓋我為基督受縲絏、徧聞於御營、以及他處、信主之兄弟多人、因我之縲絏增加其信、益毅然傳道而無懼、

我聞眾人之讒謗、我隨在驚惶、彼此相語必控我、素與我相交在我側者、亦云我儕盍誘之、或可勝之、以復我仇於其身、惟主祐我、若大力之勇士、故迫害我者、必顛蹶不能勝、因其不亨通、不亨通或作不明哲甚為愧怍、抱恥蒙羞、永不見忘、

主云、爾如蚯蚓之雅各、爾曹以色列人乎、勿畏懼、我救濟爾、贖爾者、乃以色列之聖主、

毋畏葸、我必祐爾、勿膽怯、我乃爾之天主、必堅強爾、濟助爾、我必以施救之右手扶持爾、

因主立於窮人之右、救之脫離欲罪之之人、

我必使爾在斯民間、若鞏固之銅墻、彼雖攻爾、必不勝爾、因我必祐護爾、以拯救爾、此乃主所言、必救爾贖爾、脫於惡者暴者之手、

蓋我將賜爾以口才智慧、使爾諸仇不能辯駁抵拒、

我在眾聖徒中、雖為至微者、猶蒙天主賜恩、使我於異邦人中、傳基督不可測之富有、

我謝我主耶穌基督、助我以力、以我為忠、任我以傳福音之職、

善人必蒙主拯救、遇患難時、主必為其保障、主保祐之、解救之、解救之脫離惡人、救援之因其仰賴主、

惟主知拯救虔敬之人、脫於苦難、而留不義之人、待審判之日受刑、

能救人援人、在天在地顯異跡、行奇事、曾救但以理、不為獅所害、不為獅所害或作免受獅之害○

夜間、主於異象中諭保羅曰、勿懼、當傳道、勿緘默、我偕爾、無人攻爾害爾、蓋我有多民在此邑、

今我遣爾往就斯民、並異邦人、必拯爾脫其害、我遣爾為明其目、俾棄暗就光、離撒但之權、歸於天主、使其因信我而罪得赦、於諸聖徒中獲業、

我所服事所崇拜之天主、其使者昨夜立於我側、曰、保羅勿懼、爾必立於該撒前、且天主以同舟之人悉賜爾、

我責爾子亦徒然、彼不受教、爾刃殺爾諸先知若猛獅殘傷、

主謂我曰、我賜爾之恩足矣、蓋我之能、益顯於人之弱、故我欣然、寧誇我之弱、使基督之能庇我、

暴君轄制貧民、如咆哮之獅、饑餓之熊、

王之威怒、如獅之咆吼、犯之者自取罪戾、
