To Titus, my true son in our common faith. Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.

But God, who comforts the humble, comforted us by the arrival of Titus,

Luke, the dearly loved physician, and Demas greet you.Give my greetings to the brothers in Laodicea, and to Nympha and the church in her home.

I had no rest in my spirit because I did not find my brother Titus, but I said good-bye to them and left for Macedonia.

all seek their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and by craving it, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pains.

Thanks be to God who put the same concern for you into the heart of Titus.

The people here were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, since they welcomed the message with eagerness and examined the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.

So we urged Titus that just as he had begun, so he should also complete this grace to you.

But when the Jews from Thessalonica found out that God’s message had been proclaimed by Paul at Berea, they came there too, agitating and disturbing the crowds.

Instruct those who are rich in the present age not to be arrogant or to set their hope on the uncertainty of wealth, but on God, who richly provides us with all things to enjoy.

Another also said,“ I will follow You, Lord, but first let me go and say good-bye to those at my house.”But Jesus said to him,“ No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.”

and all the brothers who are with me: To the churches of Galatia.

And after spending some time there, he set out, traveling through one place after another in the Galatian territory and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples.
