But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus,

Luke the beloved physician greets you, as does Demas.Give my greetings to the brothers at Laodicea, and to Nympha and the church in her house.

my spirit was not at rest because I did not find my brother Titus there. So I took leave of them and went on to Macedonia.

For they all seek their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

But thanks be to God, who put into the heart of Titus the same earnest care I have for you.

Forsaking the right way, they have gone astray. They have followed the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved gain from wrongdoing,

But when the Jews from Thessalonica learned that the word of God was proclaimed by Paul at Berea also, they came there too, agitating and stirring up the crowds.

As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.

Yet another said,“ I will follow you, Lord, but let me first say farewell to those at my home.”Jesus said to him,“ No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.”

and all the brothers who are with me, To the churches of Galatia:

After spending some time there, he departed and went from one place to the next through the region of Galatia and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples.
