They told you,“ In the end time there will be scoffers living according to their own ungodly desires.”

Wives, likewise, should be worthy of respect, not slanderers, self-controlled, faithful in everything.

Above all, be aware of this: Scoffers will come in the last days scoffing and following their own evil desires,

During David’s reign there was a famine for three successive years, so David inquired of the LORD. They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption, since people are enslaved to whatever defeats them.

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

Yet you have dishonored the poor. Don’t the rich oppress you and drag you into court?
