務將予所傳之福音、存之於心！一言以蔽之、即大維之裔、耶穌基督、確自死者中復活是已。

God raised Him up, ending the pains of death, because it was not possible for Him to be held by it.

on the day when God judges what people have kept secret, according to my gospel through Christ Jesus.

Therefore, whether it is I or they, so we proclaim and so you have believed.Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say,“ There is no resurrection of the dead”?But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised;and if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is without foundation, and so is your faith.In addition, we are found to be false witnesses about God, because we have testified about God that He raised up Christ— whom He did not raise up if in fact the dead are not raised.For if the dead are not raised, Christ has not been raised.And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins.Therefore, those who have fallen asleep in Christ have also perished.If we have put our hope in Christ for this life only, we should be pitied more than anyone.But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

The historical record of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham:

He called you to this through our gospel, so that you might obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

He also said to them,“ This is what is written: The Messiah would suffer and rise from the dead the third day,

that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

concerning His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who was a descendant of David according to the fleshand who has been declared to be the powerful Son of God by the resurrection from the dead according to the Spirit of holiness.

Now brothers, I want to clarify for you the gospel I proclaimed to you; you received it and have taken your stand on it.

Then one of the elders said to me,“ Stop crying. Look! The Lion from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has been victorious so that He may open the scroll and its seven seals.”

For this I was appointed a herald, an apostle( I am telling the truth; I am not lying), and a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

Now to Him who has power to strengthen you according to my gospel and the proclamation about Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept silent for long ages

Since he was a prophet, he knew that God had sworn an oath to him to seat one of his descendants on his throne.
