And entrust what you heard me say in the presence of many others as witnesses to faithful people who will be competent to teach others as well.

And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.

You have heard me teach in front of many witnesses. Pass on to people you can trust the things you’ve heard me say. Then they will be able to teach others also.

and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.

You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.

What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, commit to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful people who will be able to teach others also.

And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

Hold to the standard of sound words that you heard from me and do so with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.Protect that good thing entrusted to you, through the Holy Spirit who lives within us.

By pointing out such things to the brothers and sisters, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, having nourished yourself on the words of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed.

Compete well for the faith and lay hold of that eternal life you were called for and made your good confession for in the presence of many witnesses.

The reason I left you in Crete was to set in order the remaining matters and to appoint elders in every town, as I directed you.An elder must be blameless, the husband of one wife, with faithful children who cannot be charged with dissipation or rebellion.For the overseer must be blameless as one entrusted with God’s work, not arrogant, not prone to anger, not a drunkard, not violent, not greedy for gain.Instead he must be hospitable, devoted to what is good, sensible, upright, devout, and self- controlled.He must hold firmly to the faithful message as it has been taught, so that he will be able to give exhortation in such healthy teaching and correct those who speak against it.

You learned the gospel from Epaphras, our dear fellow slave– a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf–

who is faithful to the one who appointed him, as Moses was also in God’s house.For he has come to deserve greater glory than Moses, just as the builder of a house deserves greater honor than the house itself!

Remember, I have told you ahead of time.

My servant Moses is not like this; he is faithful in all my house.

Therefore he had to be made like his brothers and sisters in every respect, so that he could become a merciful and faithful high priest in things relating to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people.

Do not lay hands on anyone hastily and so identify with the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.
