But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage?

“ I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;

Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints;neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.Therefore do not be partakers with them.For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it.For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.

from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

And so I have made it my aim to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build on another man’s foundation,

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.

For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

Those who trust in the Lord Are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved, but abides forever.As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the Lord surrounds His people From this time forth and forever.

‘ Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of“ Grace, grace to it!”’”Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying:“ The hands of Zerubbabel Have laid the foundation of this temple; His hands shall also finish it. Then you will know That the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you.

And to man He said,‘ Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to depart from evil is understanding.’”

“ So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”

When the whirlwind passes by, the wicked is no more, But the righteous has an everlasting foundation.

You who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

and that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written:“ For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, And sing to Your name.”

Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance.

for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

What will they answer the messengers of the nation? That the Lord has founded Zion, And the poor of His people shall take refuge in it.

‘ In that day,’ says the Lord of hosts,‘ I will take you, Zerubbabel My servant, the son of Shealtiel,’ says the Lord,‘ and will make you like a signet ring; for I have chosen you,’ says the Lord of hosts.”

You shall leave your name as a curse to My chosen; For the Lord GOD will slay you, And call His servants by another name;
