If we don’t give up, we will also rule with him. If we say we don’t know him, he will also say he doesn’t know us.

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and[ I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received[ his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Blessed and holy[ is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and[ in his] Father’s, and of the holy angels.

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father:[( but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also].

I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

I know thy works, and where thou dwellest,[ even] where Satan’s seat[ is]: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas[ was] my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:[ Which is] a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:Seeing[ it is] a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

[ Saying], Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles:

Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.

Lest I be full, and deny[ thee], and say, Who[ is] the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God[ in vain].

And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him[ be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Confirming the souls of the disciples,[ and] exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
