兄弟啊，我為你的愛心，大有快樂，大得安慰，因眾聖徒的心從你得了暢快。

兄弟啊，望你使我在主裏因你得快樂，並望你使我的心在基督裏得暢快。

憐恤人的人有福了！因為他們必蒙憐恤。

因為神並非不公義，竟忘記你們所做的工和你們為他名所顯的愛心，就是先前伺候聖徒，如今還是伺候。

慈愛的人，你以慈愛待他；完全的人，你以完全待他。

因為我餓了，你們給我吃，渴了，你們給我喝；我作客旅，你們留我住；我赤身露體，你們給我穿；我病了，你們看顧我；我在監裏，你們來看我。』義人就回答說：『主啊，我們甚麼時候見你餓了，給你吃，渴了，給你喝？甚麼時候見你作客旅，留你住，或是赤身露體，給你穿？又甚麼時候見你病了，或是在監裏，來看你呢？』王要回答說：『我實在告訴你們，這些事你們既做在我這弟兄中一個最小的身上，就是做在我身上了。』

因為辦這供給的事，不但補聖徒的缺乏，而且叫許多人越發感謝神。他們從這供給的事上得了憑據，知道你們承認基督順服他的福音，多多地捐錢給他們和眾人，便將榮耀歸與神。他們也因神極大的恩賜顯在你們心裏，就切切地想念你們，為你們祈禱。

你不要以給我們的主作見證為恥，也不要以我這為主被囚的為恥；總要按神的能力，與我為福音同受苦難。

人因為先知的名接待先知，必得先知所得的賞賜；人因為義人的名接待義人，必得義人所得的賞賜。無論何人，因為門徒的名，只把一杯涼水給這小子裏的一個喝，我實在告訴你們，這人不能不得賞賜。」

他們叫我和你們心裏都快活。這樣的人，你們務要敬重。

我吩咐利未人潔淨自己，來守城門，使安息日為聖。我的神啊，求你因這事記念我，照你的大慈愛憐恤我。

因為你們體恤了那些被捆鎖的人，並且你們的家業被人搶去，也甘心忍受，知道自己有更美長存的家業。

我又派百姓按定期獻柴和初熟的土產。我的神啊，求你記念我，施恩與我。

我的神啊，求你因這事記念我，不要塗抹我為神的殿與其中的禮節所行的善。

我的神啊，求你記念我為這百姓所行的一切事，施恩與我。

願主使他在那日得主的憐憫。他在以弗所怎樣多多地服事我，是你明明知道的。

他終日恩待人，借給人；他的後裔也蒙福！
