If anyone teaches a different doctrine, and doesn’t consent to sound words, the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness,

Buy the truth, and don’t sell it. Get wisdom, discipline, and understanding.

Having then a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let’s hold tightly to our confession.

That good thing which was committed to you, guard through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.

let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.

Nevertheless, hold that which you have firmly until I come.

but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house. We are his house, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.

My son, let them not depart from your eyes. Keep sound wisdom and discretion:

and soundness of speech that can’t be condemned, that he who opposes you may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say about us.

He taught me, and said to me:“ Let your heart retain my words. Keep my commandments, and live.Get wisdom. Get understanding. Don’t forget, and don’t deviate from the words of my mouth.Don’t forsake her, and she will preserve you. Love her, and she will keep you.Wisdom is supreme. Get wisdom. Yes, though it costs all your possessions, get understanding.Esteem her, and she will exalt you. She will bring you to honor when you embrace her.

Take firm hold of instruction. Don’t let her go. Keep her, for she is your life.

She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her. Happy is everyone who retains her.

Counsel and sound knowledge are mine. I have understanding and power.
