凡事省察、惟據乎善、

有人傳異教、背吾主耶穌基督正理棄敬虔之至道、

宜求智慧、服膺真理。

既有大祭司長、上帝子耶穌、直造乎天之極、則我儕宜固守其教、

昔以善事托爾、當賴我中之聖神守之、

上帝許我、言出惟行、故我當守道、懷望不移、

惟爾所受者、宜恆守之、待我臨格、

然則基督為子以齊其家、我若毅然歡望、至終鞏固、則可為其家人矣、

爾小子、宜守智慧、常目在之、

所言宜正、無可辯駁、俾背理者自愧勵、不以惡言相加、

父誨我曰、當守我道、遵我教、則可得生。宜求智慧、服膺勿失、毋棄我道。必也願受真理、不敢遐棄、則可保身而無虞。眾物雖可欲、惟道尤為急務。如爾尊道、則尊榮必矣、如爾受道、則英華必矣、
