奉神旨意作基督耶穌使徒的保羅和兄弟提摩太，寫信給在哥林多神的教會，並亞該亞遍處的眾聖徒。

因為我父的意思是叫一切見子而信的人得永生，並且在末日我要叫他復活。」

這奧祕就是外邦人在基督耶穌裏，藉着福音，得以同為後嗣，同為一體，同蒙應許。

盼望那無謊言的神在萬古之先所應許的永生，

為此，他作了新約的中保，既然受死贖了人在前約之時所犯的罪過，便叫蒙召之人得着所應許永遠的產業。

你們查考聖經，因你們以為內中有永生；給我作見證的就是這經。然而，你們不肯到我這裏來得生命。

認識你－獨一的真神，並且認識你所差來的耶穌基督，這就是永生。

吃我肉、喝我血的人就有永生，在末日我要叫他復活。

神的神能已將一切關乎生命和虔敬的事賜給我們，皆因我們認識那用自己榮耀和美德召我們的主。因此，他已將又寶貴又極大的應許賜給我們，叫我們既脫離世上從情慾來的敗壞，就得與神的性情有分。

我又賜給他們永生；他們永不滅亡，誰也不能從我手裏把他們奪去。

奉神旨意，蒙召作耶穌基督使徒的保羅，同兄弟所提尼，

就如罪作王叫人死；照樣，恩典也藉着義作王，叫人因我們的主耶穌基督得永生。

我實實在在地告訴你們，那聽我話、又信差我來者的，就有永生；不至於定罪，是已經出死入生了。

主所應許我們的就是永生。

為自己積成美好的根基，預備將來，叫他們持定那真正的生命。

神的應許，不論有多少，在基督都是是的。所以藉着他也都是實在的，叫神因我們得榮耀。

因為罪的工價乃是死；惟有神的恩賜，在我們的主基督耶穌裏，乃是永生。

耶穌基督的僕人保羅，奉召為使徒，特派傳神的福音。
