奉神旨意作基督耶穌使徒的保羅，和提摩太弟兄，寫信給在哥林多神的教會，和全亞該亞所有的聖徒。

因為我父的旨意，是要使所有看見了子而信的人有永生，並且在末日我要使他們復活。”

這奧祕就是外族人在基督耶穌裡，藉著福音可以同作後嗣，同為一體，同蒙應許。

這都是根據永生的盼望，這永生就是沒有謊言的神在萬世以前所應許的。

因此，他作了新約的中保，藉著他的死，使人在前約之下的過犯得到救贖，就叫那些蒙召的人，得著永遠基業的應許。

你們研究聖經，因為你們認為聖經中有永生，其實為我作證的就是這聖經，然而你們卻不肯到我這裡來得生命。

認識你是獨一的真神，並且認識你所差來的耶穌基督，這就是永生。

吃我肉、喝我血的，就有永生，在末日我要使他復活；

神以他神聖的能力，因著我們確實認識那位用自己的榮耀和美善呼召我們的，把一切有關生命和敬虔的事，都賜給了我們。藉著這些，他把又寶貴又極大的應許賜給了我們，好叫你們既然逃脫世上因私慾而來的敗壞，就可以分享神的本性。

我賜給他們永生，他們永不滅亡，誰也不能把他們從我手裡奪去。

奉神旨意蒙召作基督耶穌使徒的保羅，和蘇提尼弟兄，

罪藉著死掌權；照樣，恩典也藉著義掌權，使人藉著我們的主耶穌基督進入永生。

我實實在在告訴你們，那聽見我的話又信那差我來的，就有永生，不被定罪，而是已經出死入生了。

他應許給我們的，就是永遠的生命。

這樣，就為自己在來世積聚財富，作美好的基礎，好叫他們能夠得著那真正的生命。

因為神的一切應許，在基督裡都是“是”的，為此我們藉著他說“阿們”，使榮耀歸於神。

因為罪的工價就是死，但神的恩賞，在我們的主基督耶穌裡，卻是永生。

基督耶穌的僕人保羅，蒙召作使徒，奉派傳神的福音。
