我是奉上帝旨意作基督耶穌使徒的保羅，與提摩太弟兄寫信給在哥林多的上帝的教會以及亞該亞境內所有的聖徒。

因為我父的旨意是要叫一切看見兒子並相信的人得到永生，在末日，我要叫他們復活。」

這奧祕就是外族人能夠在基督耶穌裡藉著福音與以色列人同作後嗣，同為一體，同享應許。

這永生就是，認識你——獨一的真神，並且認識你所差來的耶穌基督。

吃我肉、喝我血的人有永生，在末日，我要叫他復活。

因為我們認識了用自己的榮耀和美德呼召我們的上帝，上帝以祂神聖的能力將生命與敬虔所需要的一切賜給了我們。藉此，祂已將既寶貴又偉大的應許賞給了我們，使我們脫離世上私慾帶來的敗壞，能夠有份於上帝的性情。

我要賜他們永生，他們永不滅亡。沒有人能從我的手裡把他們搶走。

我是按上帝旨意蒙召作基督耶穌使徒的保羅，同所提尼弟兄，

罪怎樣掌權帶來死亡，恩典也照樣藉著義掌權，為要藉著我們主耶穌基督帶來永生。

「我實實在在地告訴你們，誰聽從我的話，又信差我來的那位，誰就有永生，不被定罪，已經出死入生了。

主應許給我們的是永生。

這樣，他們可以為自己的將來奠定美好的基礎，以便持守真正的生命。

因為上帝的一切應許在基督裡都是確實的，所以我們也是藉著基督說「阿們」，將榮耀歸於上帝。

因為罪的代價就是死亡，而上帝藉著主基督耶穌賜下的禮物則是永生。

我是基督耶穌的奴僕保羅，蒙召作使徒，奉命傳上帝的福音。
