吾儕以吾主耶穌基督名義、囑我兄弟、遠離寡廉鮮恥、不守吾人規範之兄弟。

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers and sisters, to keep away from every believer who is idle and disruptive and does not live according to the teaching you received from us.

Brothers and sisters, here is a command we give you. We give it in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Keep away from every believer who doesn’t want to work and makes trouble. Keep away from any believer who doesn’t live up to the teaching you received from us.

Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us.

And now, dear brothers and sisters, we give you this command in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ: Stay away from all believers who live idle lives and don’t follow the tradition they received from us.

Now we command you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from every brother or sister who is idle and does not live according to the tradition received from us.

Now we command you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from every brother or sister who leads a disorderly life and not one in accordance with the tradition which you received from us.

But we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw from every brother who walks disorderly and not according to the tradition which he received from us.

Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks in rebellion, and not after the tradition which they received from us.

我們在你們那裏的時候曾吩咐你們，說若有人不肯做工，就不可吃飯。因為我們聽說，在你們中間有人懶散，甚麼工都不做，反倒專管閒事。

你們自己知道該怎樣效法我們。因為我們在你們當中從未懶散過，

弟兄們，我們勸你們，要警戒不守規矩的人，勉勵灰心的人，扶助軟弱的人，對眾人要有耐心。

所以，弟兄們，你們要站立得穩，凡所領受的教導，無論是我們口傳的，是信上寫的，都要堅守。

你們無論做甚麼，或說話或行事，都要奉主耶穌的名，藉着他感謝父上帝。

弟兄們，那些離間你們、使你們跌倒、違背所學之道的人，我勸你們要留意躲避他們。

末了，弟兄們，我們靠着主耶穌求你們，勸你們，既然你們領受了我們的教導，知道該怎樣行事為人，討上帝的喜悅，其實你們也正這樣行，我勸你們要更加努力。

你們赦免誰，我也赦免誰。我若有所赦免，是在基督面前為你們的緣故赦免的，

有敬虔的外貌，卻背棄了敬虔的實質，這等人你要避開。

我在上帝面前，並在將來審判活人死人的基督耶穌面前，憑着他的顯現和他的國度鄭重地勸戒你：

要謹慎，免得有人失去了上帝的恩典；免得有毒根生出來擾亂你們，因而使許多人沾染污穢，免得有人淫亂，或不敬虔如以掃，他因一點點食物把自己長子的名分賣了。

要立志過安靜的生活，管自己的事，親手做工，正如我們從前吩咐你們的，

若有人不聽從我們這信上的話，要把他記下，不和他交往，使他自覺羞愧；但不要把他當仇人，要勸他如勸弟兄。

他若是不聽他們，就去告訴教會；若是不聽教會，就把他看作外邦人和稅吏。

但現在，我寫信告訴你們，若有稱為弟兄的人卻仍犯淫亂，或貪婪，或拜偶像，或辱罵，或醉酒，或勒索，這樣的人不可跟他交往，就是跟他吃飯都不可以。因為審判教外的人與我何干？教內的人豈不是你們要審判嗎？至於外人有上帝審判他們。如經上說：「要從你們中間把那邪惡的人趕出去。」

所以我這樣說，且在主裏鄭重地說，你們行事為人，不要再像外邦人存虛妄的心而活。

我稱讚你們，因為你們凡事記得我，又堅守我所傳授給你們的。

我在那賜生命給萬物的上帝面前，並在向本丟‧彼拉多作過那美好見證的基督耶穌面前囑咐你：要守這命令，毫不玷污，無可指責，直到我們的主耶穌基督顯現。

我在上帝、基督耶穌和蒙揀選的天使面前囑咐你要遵守這些話，不可存成見，做事也不可偏心。

和心術不正與喪失真理的人不停地爭吵，以敬虔為得利的門路。
