In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers and sisters, to keep away from every believer who is idle and disruptive and does not live according to the teaching you received from us.

弟兄们，我们奉主耶稣基督的名吩咐你们，凡是游手好闲的弟兄，不按着你们从我们所领受的教训去行，就应当远离他。

弟兄们，我们奉我们主耶稣基督的名吩咐你们，要避开所有过着懒散生活，以及不照着你们从我们领受的传统而生活的弟兄。

弟兄們，我們奉主耶穌基督的名吩咐你們，凡有弟兄不按規矩而行，不遵守從我們所受的教訓，就當遠離他。

弟兄們，我們奉我們主耶穌基督的名囑咐你們，凡有弟兄游手好閒地流蕩、不按着你們從我們所領受的傳統教訓而行的、你們要避開。

弟兄們，我們奉我們主耶穌基督的名吩咐你們，要避開所有過著懶散生活，以及不照著你們從我們領受的傳統而生活的弟兄。

兄弟乎、我以我主耶穌基督之名命爾、凡兄弟妄行、不依所受我儕之傳者、則遠之、

如有兄弟無度、不遵我命、我則因吾主耶穌基督名、諭兄弟遠之、

兄弟乎、凡有兄弟妄為、不遵由我儕所受之道、我以主耶穌基督之名、命爾當遠之、

吾儕以吾主耶穌基督名義、囑我兄弟、遠離寡廉鮮恥、不守吾人規範之兄弟。

Brothers and sisters, here is a command we give you. We give it in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Keep away from every believer who doesn’t want to work and makes trouble. Keep away from any believer who doesn’t live up to the teaching you received from us.

Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us.

And now, dear brothers and sisters, we give you this command in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ: Stay away from all believers who live idle lives and don’t follow the tradition they received from us.

Now we command you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from every brother or sister who is idle and does not live according to the tradition received from us.

Now we command you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from every brother or sister who leads a disorderly life and not one in accordance with the tradition which you received from us.

But we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw from every brother who walks disorderly and not according to the tradition which he received from us.

Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which they received of us.

Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from every brother who walks irresponsibly and not according to the tradition received from us.

Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

But we command you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from any brother who lives an undisciplined life and not according to the tradition they received from us.

Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks in rebellion, and not after the tradition which they received from us.

For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule:“ The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.”We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy; they are busybodies.

For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you,

So when you are assembled and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord Jesus is present,

And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone.

So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.

As for other matters, brothers and sisters, we instructed you how to live in order to please God, as in fact you are living. Now we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus to do this more and more.

Anyone you forgive, I also forgive. And what I have forgiven— if there was anything to forgive— I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake,

having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge:

See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son.

and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you,

Take special note of anyone who does not obey our instruction in this letter. Do not associate with them, in order that they may feel ashamed.Yet do not regard them as an enemy, but warn them as you would a fellow believer.

If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?God will judge those outside.“ Expel the wicked person from among you.”

So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.

I praise you for remembering me in everything and for holding to the traditions just as I passed them on to you.

In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge youto keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,

I charge you, in the sight of God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels, to keep these instructions without partiality, and to do nothing out of favoritism.

and constant friction between people of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.
