兄弟乎、我以我主耶穌基督之名命爾、凡兄弟妄行、不依所受我儕之傳者、則遠之、

如有兄弟無度、不遵我命、我則因吾主耶穌基督名、諭兄弟遠之、

兄弟乎、凡有兄弟妄為、不遵由我儕所受之道、我以主耶穌基督之名、命爾當遠之、

吾儕以吾主耶穌基督名義、囑我兄弟、遠離寡廉鮮恥、不守吾人規範之兄弟。

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers and sisters, to keep away from every believer who is idle and disruptive and does not live according to the teaching you received from us.

Brothers and sisters, here is a command we give you. We give it in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Keep away from every believer who doesn’t want to work and makes trouble. Keep away from any believer who doesn’t live up to the teaching you received from us.

Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us.

And now, dear brothers and sisters, we give you this command in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ: Stay away from all believers who live idle lives and don’t follow the tradition they received from us.

Now we command you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from every brother or sister who is idle and does not live according to the tradition received from us.

Now we command you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from every brother or sister who leads a disorderly life and not one in accordance with the tradition which you received from us.

For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, If any will not work, neither let him eat.For we hear of some that walk among you disorderly, that work not at all, but are busybodies.

For yourselves know how ye ought to imitate us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

in the name of our Lord Jesus, ye being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus,

And we exhort you, brethren, admonish the disorderly, encourage the fainthearted, support the weak, be longsuffering toward all.

So then, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye were taught, whether by word, or by epistle of ours.

And whatsoever ye do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them that are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which ye learned: and turn away from them.

Finally then, brethren, we beseech and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that, as ye received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, even as ye do walk,— that ye abound more and more.

But to whom ye forgive anything, I forgive also: for what I also have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, for your sakes have I forgiven it in the presence of Christ;

holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof: from these also turn away.

I charge thee in the sight of God, and of Christ Jesus, who shall judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom:

looking carefully lest there be any man that falleth short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby the many be defiled;lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one mess of meat sold his own birthright.

and that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your hands, even as we charged you;

And if any man obeyeth not our word by this epistle, note that man, that ye have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed.And yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

And if he refuse to hear them, tell it unto the church: and if he refuse to hear the church also, let him be unto thee as the Gentile and the publican.

but as it is, I wrote unto you not to keep company, if any man that is named a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one no, not to eat.For what have I to do with judging them that are without? Do not ye judge them that are within?But them that are without God judgeth. Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye no longer walk as the Gentiles also walk, in the vanity of their mind,

Now I praise you that ye remember me in all things, and hold fast the traditions, even as I delivered them to you.

I charge thee in the sight of God, who giveth life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed the good confession;that thou keep the commandment, without spot, without reproach, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

I charge thee in the sight of God, and Christ Jesus, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality.

wranglings of men corrupted in mind and bereft of the truth, supposing that godliness is a way of gain.
