如果有人不順從我們這信上的話語，你們就要記住這個人，不可與他交往，好讓他感到羞愧；

若有人不听从我们这信上的话，要记下他，不和他交往，叫他自觉羞愧。

倘若有人不從此書之訓、當注意其人、羞與為伍、以激發其廉恥之心。

Take special note of anyone who does not obey our instruction in this letter. Do not associate with them, in order that they may feel ashamed.

Keep an eye on anyone who doesn’t obey the teachings in our letter. Don’t have anything to do with that person. Then they will feel ashamed.

If anyone does not obey what we say in this letter, take note of that person, and have nothing to do with him, that he may be ashamed.

但如今我寫給你們的是：如果有人被稱為弟兄，卻是淫亂的、或貪心的、或拜偶像的、或誹謗人的、或酗酒的、或勒索人的，你們不可與他交往，連與這樣的人一起吃飯都不可。

弟兄們，我們奉我們主耶穌基督的名吩咐你們，要避開所有過著懶散生活，以及不照著你們從我們領受的傳統而生活的弟兄。

對那製造分裂的人，在第一次、第二次的警戒以後，就要棄絕他，

耶和華啊，求你使他們滿面羞辱，使他們因此尋求你的名！

我深信你會順從，就寫了信給你，因為我知道你所做的甚至會超過我所求的。

其實我也為此寫了信，就是要知道你們經過考驗的品德：你們是否在一切事上都順從。

弟兄們，我勸你們，要留心那些針對你們所受的教導而製造分裂和絆腳石的人。你們要遠離他們。

而且當提多想起你們大家的順從，想起你們怎樣懷著敬畏和戰兢的心接受他，他對你們的情感就越發增多了。

我沒有聽老師的話，也沒有側耳聽教導我的人；

我要起來，到我父親那裡去，對他說：『父親，我對天犯了罪，也在你面前犯了罪。我再也不配稱為你的兒子，請把我當做你的一個雇工吧。』於是他起來往自己的父親那裡去。他離得還遠的時候，他父親就看到他，動了憐憫之心，跑上去摟住他的脖子親吻他。兒子說：『父親，我對天犯了罪，也在你面前犯了罪。我再也不配稱為你的兒子。』

而且我們預備好了，要在你們完全順從以後，懲罰所有的悖逆行為。

我以前在書信上給你們寫過：不可與淫亂的人交往。

因此，那拒絕這吩咐的，不是拒絕人，而是拒絕神——就是將他的聖靈賜給你們的那一位。

如果他不聽他們的，就告訴教會；如果他連教會也不聽，就應當把他看做像外邦人或稅吏一樣。

你們要信任那些帶領你們的人，要服從他們，因為他們做為要交帳的人，要為你們的靈魂時刻警醒。你們要讓他們能懷著喜樂的心做這事，而不至嘆息，因為讓他們嘆息，對你們並沒有益處。

因此，我親愛的各位，既然你們一直是順從的——不僅我在的時候如此，現今我不在的時候更加順從——就當懷著敬畏和戰兢的心，把你們的救恩行出來，
