此外，弟兄們，我們在主耶穌裡請求你們、勸勉你們：既然從我們學到了該怎樣行事為人，怎樣討神的喜悅——就像你們也在行的——你們就要更加努力，

一隻手滿有安寧，好過雙手滿是勞苦和捕風。

有一口乾餅卻相安無事，好過滿屋筵席卻爭辯不休。

好使我們能完全敬神、莊重地過平靜安穩的生活。

以薩迦是頭壯驢，臥在羊圈之中。他見安居之處美好，見那地令人喜悅，就屈肩負重，成為服苦役的奴僕。

我們日用的食糧，願你天天賜給我們。
