然後彼不法者顯出、主將以其口中之氣滅之、以其降臨之輝耀廢之、

則彼橫行不法者、行將猖獗。而主耶穌乃必以其所發之正氣、予以懲創、且藉己之昭臨、予以殲滅。

他憑義氣為貧寒人申正義，以正直判斷國中的困苦人；他以口中的杖擊打強橫人，以嘴裏的氣殺死惡人。

有一把利劍從他口中吐出，用了這個、可以擊打列國；他必用鐵杖管轄他們；他踹着全能者上帝震怒報應之酒醡。

不要讓人用任何方法誘惑你們；因為必先有叛教之事，然後那日子才來到，那不法之人才顯露出來，就是那自趨滅亡的人、

那獸被逮，那假神言人、就是那在獸面前行過神迹、用神迹迷惑了受獸印記和拜獸像的人的、也和獸一同被逮；這兩個活活地丟在那有硫磺燒着的火湖裏。其餘的被騎馬者口中吐出的劍殺了；眾鳥都喫飽了他們的肉。

有火河發出，從寶座前面流出來；伺候他的有千千，侍立在他面前的有萬萬；審判者坐着要開庭，案卷都展開着。那時、因那小角說着誇大之話的聲音，我就觀看，看見那獸被殺，牠的身體被毁壞，交給火燒。

期待着帶福樂的盼望之實現，就是我們的至大上帝、救主基督耶穌、的榮耀之顯現。

故此你要悔改；不然，我就迅速臨到你，用我口中的劍同他們爭戰。

那迷惑他們的魔鬼就被丟在火跟硫磺的湖裏、獸和假神言人所在的地方；他們必晝夜受苦痛，世世代代、永不停息。

故此在一天之內、她的災殃、死亡、哀慟、饑荒、就必來到；她也必在火中被燒掉；因為審判她、的主上帝大有力量。』地上的君王、素來同她行淫、荒淫無度的、看見她被焚燒的煙，就必為她哭泣捶胸。因怕她的苦痛、都必在遠處站着說：『有禍啊！有禍啊！大城巴比倫！大有勢力的城啊，一時之間你受判罰的時候到了！』

只好期待着可怕的審判、與神妒的烈火，就是將要吞滅對敵的。

此後就有正義之華冠為我保留着，就是主、公義的審判者、在那日要賞報我的，不但賞給我，也賞給一切愛慕他顯現的人。

他並且執有七顆星在右手中；有一把雙刃的利劍從他口中吐出；他的臉面像日頭滿有熱力地發光。

永恆主啊，你的叱責一發，你鼻孔的氣息一呼出，海底就出現，大地的根基也現露。

如今藉着我們的救主基督耶穌之顯現為人所顯明出來的。他把死廢掉，又藉着福音將生命與「不朽」彰顯出來。

父老們，我寫信給你們，因為你們認識了那從起初就有的。青年人哪，我寫信給你們，因為你們勝過了那邪惡者。小孩子們，我寫信給你們，因為你們認識了父。

我在上帝面前、在那將要審判活人死人的基督耶穌面前、憑着他的顯現和他的國權、切切地誓囑、

然而審判者必坐堂審判；他的權柄必被奪去，被毁壞、被滅絕、一直到底。

因此我藉着神言人砍伐他們，我用我口中說的話殺戮他們，我的判罰如光發出。

他們由上帝噓的氣而滅亡；由上帝怒氣的風而消沒。

要謹守所受的任命、毫無玷污、無可指摘，直到我們主耶穌基督之顯現、

田地呢、是世界；好種子呢、是天國之子；稗子呢、是那邪惡者之子。

不像該隱；出於那邪惡者、而屠殺了他的兄弟。為甚麼屠殺他呢？因為他自己的行為邪惡，而他兄弟的行為卻是正義。

凡聽天國之道而不領悟的，那邪惡者就來，把所撒在他心裏的攫了去：這就是撒在路旁的。

將責罰加給不認識上帝的、和不聽從我們主耶穌福音的人。這兩種人當主來的時候必擔受刑罰、永世的死滅、跟主的面和他有力量的榮耀分離。當那日子他必在聖徒身上得榮耀，也必在一切信眾身上被讚為希奇；因為我們對你們所作的見證、真地已蒙你們相信了。
