則彼橫行不法者、行將猖獗。而主耶穌乃必以其所發之正氣、予以懲創、且藉己之昭臨、予以殲滅。

當此時、惡人將出、主以辭氣滅之、俟厥昭臨、必淪胥以亡、

然後彼不法者顯出、主將以其口中之氣滅之、以其降臨之輝耀廢之、

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.

Then the man of sin will appear. The Lord Jesus will overthrow him with the breath of his mouth. The glorious brightness of Jesus’ coming will destroy the man of sin.

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming.

彼口吐利刃、以擊萬邦；手執鐵杖、以牧元元；足踐酒醡、以洩全能天主之義憤；

望爾等切莫受人之愚也。彼日之來、必先有反教背主之事、又有元惡大憝、淪亡之子、先行顯露、

獸及偽先知同被擒。偽先知者、即當日行異蹟於獸前以熒惑受獸印拜獸像之群眾者也。二者俱被執而生投於硫火池中。騎白馬者復以其口吐之劍、殲滅餘黨、眾鳥皆飫其肉焉。

翼翼事主、翹足企首、仰望真福、與夫大主宰及吾救主耶穌基督之光臨。

尚其悔改、否則吾不久必來爾處、以吾口中之劍、痛擊之。

於是惑眾之妖魔乃被投入硫火池中、與獸及偽先知朝暮受刑、永世靡已。

詎料一旦眾災咸臨、死喪、憂戚、飢饉、紛至沓來、終至付諸一炬；蓋黜陟之主、乃全能之主宰也。世之百王與之共淫、而同享侈泰者、必將目擊其火焰、而號咷大哭；懼其禍之及身、乃遙立而言曰：「哀哉哀哉！大邑巴比倫也！巍巍王城胡為而至斯極耶！頃刻之間、爾竟遭受審判耶！」

而其所餘者、惟觳觫待刑、以候吞滅悖逆之燎火而已。

今而後已有正義之榮冠、備以待我；一俟彼日之臨、公明之主、將以斯冠加諸我首；豈惟於我為然、凡渴望其來臨者、亦莫不然也。

右手執七星、口吐雙鋒利劍、其容如中天之日。

火箭四射。敵人傾覆。

顧其昭著、則有待乎我恩主耶穌基督之降生耳。今彼已將死亡置於死地、且藉福音之道、已將永生與不朽布之於世，昭然若揭矣。

父老乎吾致書於爾、蓋爾已識元始永生之主矣。

予在天主及黜陟幽明者、基督耶穌明鑒之下、且以基督之重臨及乘權為質、剴切命汝、

遵守誡命、務求心跡雙清、無懈可擊、以待主耶穌基督之來臨。

田、世界也；佳種、天國之子也；稗荑、惡者之子也；

勿效該因、彼乃元兇之屬、而殘殺其兄弟者也。且彼亦何為而殺之耶？非以其行之邪惡、而其兄弟之孳孳為善乎。

聞天國之道而不之悟、惡者旋至、奪其所播於心、斯乃播於道旁者也。

於烈燄中行施報應。凡不識天主、不願服膺吾主耶穌基督之福音者、皆將受刑、必至永遠沉淪、自絕於主之聖顏及其威光。
