“人子啊，你要对推罗的君王说，主耶和华如此说：你心里高傲，说：‘我是神明；我在海中坐诸神之位。’虽然你把你的心比作神明的心，你却不过是人，并不是神明！

你心里曾说：‘我要升到天上，我要高举我的宝座在神的众星之上，我要坐在会众聚集的山上，在极北的地方。我要升到高云之上，我要与至高者同等。’

虽然在天上或地上有许多所谓的神明，就如他们中间有许多的神明，许多的主，

他要在海和荣美的圣山之间搭起王宫的帐幕；然而他的结局到了，无人能帮助他。”

那兽就开口向神说亵渎的话，亵渎神的名和他的帐幕，就是那些住在天上的。它又被准许与圣徒作战，并且得胜，也赐给它权柄，可以制伏各支派、各民族、各语言、各邦国。

在杀你的人面前，你还能说‘我是神明’吗？在杀害你的人手中，你不过是人，并不是神明。

所以主耶和华如此说：因你把你的心比作神明的心，

我正思考这些角的时候，看哪，其中又长出另一只小角；先前的角中有三只角在它面前连根被拔出。看哪，这角有眼，像人的眼，有口说夸大的话。

从四角中的一角又长出另一只小角，向南、向东、向佳美之地，日渐壮大。它渐壮大，高及诸天万象，把一些天象和星辰摔落在地，用脚践踏。它自高自大，自以为高及万象之君，它除掉经常献给君的祭，毁坏君的圣所。因罪过的缘故，有军队和经常献的祭交给它。它把真理抛在地上，任意而行，无往不利。我听见有一位圣者说话，又有一位圣者向那说话的圣者说：“这经常献的祭、带来荒凉的罪过、圣所与军队被践踏的异象，要持续到几时呢？”他对我说：“要到二千三百日，圣所就必洁净。”

“王必任意而行，自高自大，超过所有的神明，又用荒谬的话攻击万神之神。他必行事亨通，直到主的愤怒结束，因为所定的事必然实现。
