弟兄们，由此可见，你们当站立得稳；你们所领受的传统，无论是藉着我们的话语，还是藉着我们的书信，你们都要持守。

故兄弟宜堅立、我所授之遺傳、或於言、或於書、宜持守之、○

吾教爾、或以口宣、或以書遺、兄弟當堅立固守之、

是以兄弟當堅立、固守所學之道、或由我儕言、或由我儕書所學者、

故望兄弟卓立不移；凡吾儕口傳函授於爾之教義、務須堅守勿渝。

So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.

Brothers and sisters, remain strong in the faith. Hold on to what we taught you. We passed our teachings on to you by what we preached and wrote.

So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions that you were taught by us, either by our spoken word or by our letter.

With all these things in mind, dear brothers and sisters, stand firm and keep a strong grip on the teaching we passed on to you both in person and by letter.

我称赞你们，因为你们在一切事上都记念我，并且照着我所传给你们的来持守传统。

弟兄们，我们奉我们主耶稣基督的名吩咐你们，要避开所有过着懒散生活，以及不照着你们从我们领受的传统而生活的弟兄。

无论是藉着灵，还是藉着话语，或藉着一封好像是来自我们的书信，说主的日子已经来到了，你们都不要轻易被摇动而失去理性，也不要惊慌；

你们要警醒，在信仰上当站立得稳，要做大丈夫，要刚强；

因此，我亲爱的弟兄们，你们要坚定，不可动摇，常常在主的工作中丰足有余，因为你们知道，你们的劳苦在主里不是虚空。

因此，我所爱的、所想念的弟兄们，我的喜乐、我的冠冕哪！各位蒙爱的人，你们当如此在主里站立得稳！

如果有人不顺从我们这信上的话语，你们就要记住这个人，不可与他交往，好让他感到羞愧；

弟兄们，我劝你们，要留心那些针对你们所受的教导而制造分裂和绊脚石的人。你们要远离他们。

各位蒙爱的人哪，我一直十分殷切地要写信给你们，谈论我们共有的救恩；我感到有必要写信鼓励你们，为曾经一次性地托付给圣徒们的信仰而努力争战，
