緣此、上帝曾以我儕之福音召爾、俾得我主耶穌基督之榮、

亦以我福音召爾、得與吾主耶穌基督之榮、

為此天主亦以我所傳之福音召爾、欲爾得我主耶穌基督之榮、

其召爾也、以吾儕之傳福音為因緣、而以爾等得沾吾主耶穌基督之光榮為目的。
