And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,

因此，神就使错谬的思想运行在他们当中，让他们相信虚谎，

为此，神就把一种迷惑人的力量送进他们里面，使他们相信虚假之事，

故此，神就給他們一個生發錯誤的心，叫他們信從虛謊，

故此，上帝就給他們一個引發錯誤的心，叫他們信從虛謊，

故此，神就給他們一個引發錯誤的心，叫他們信從虛謊，

上帝就讓他們是非不辨，去相信那些虛假的謊言，

因此，神就使錯謬的思想運行在他們當中，讓他們相信虛謊，

為這緣故、上帝就將謬妄「所運用的動力」送在他們身上，使他們信從虛謊，

為此，神就把一種迷惑人的力量送進他們裡面，使他們相信虛假之事，

故上帝施以乖謬、致信誑言、

為此、上帝任其大謬、信諸誑言、

故天主使其大謬、信從虛偽、

既不愛慕真理、天主亦祇得聽其從妄信謊、

For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie

So God will fool them completely. Then they will believe the lie.

Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false,

So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again:“ He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, Lest they should see with their eyes, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.”These things Isaiah said when he saw His glory and spoke of Him.Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue;for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

While they see false visions for you, While they divine a lie to you, To bring you on the necks of the wicked, the slain Whose day has come, Whose iniquity shall end.

“ But My people would not heed My voice, And Israel would have none of Me.So I gave them over to their own stubborn heart, To walk in their own counsels.

Pause and wonder! Blind yourselves and be blind! They are drunk, but not with wine; They stagger, but not with intoxicating drink.For the Lord has poured out on you The spirit of deep sleep, And has closed your eyes, namely, the prophets; And He has covered your heads, namely, the seers.The whole vision has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is literate, saying,“ Read this, please.” And he says,“ I cannot, for it is sealed.”Then the book is delivered to one who is illiterate, saying,“ Read this, please.” And he says,“ I am not literate.”Therefore the Lord said:“ Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men,Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work Among this people, A marvelous work and a wonder; For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.”

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ Did I not tell you he would not prophesy good concerning me, but evil?”Then Micaiah said,“ Therefore hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on His throne, and all the host of heaven standing by, on His right hand and on His left.And the Lord said,‘ Who will persuade Ahab to go up, that he may fall at Ramoth Gilead?’ So one spoke in this manner, and another spoke in that manner.Then a spirit came forward and stood before the Lord, and said,‘ I will persuade him.’The Lord said to him,‘ In what way?’ So he said,‘ I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And the Lord said,‘ You shall persuade him, and also prevail. Go out and do so.’

because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.Professing to be wise, they became fools,and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man— and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

“ And if the prophet is induced to speak anything, I the Lord have induced that prophet, and I will stretch out My hand against him and destroy him from among My people Israel.

For our exhortation did not come from error or uncleanness, nor was it in deceit.

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,

He feeds on ashes; A deceived heart has turned him aside; And he cannot deliver his soul, Nor say,“ Is there not a lie in my right hand?”

For they prophesy a lie to you, to remove you far from your land; and I will drive you out, and you will perish.

As he loved cursing, so let it come to him; As he did not delight in blessing, so let it be far from him.

So will I choose their delusions, And bring their fears on them; Because, when I called, no one answered, When I spoke they did not hear; But they did evil before My eyes, And chose that in which I do not delight.”

Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

The Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of these prophets of yours, and the Lord has declared disaster against you.”

And He said,“ Go, and tell this people:‘ Keep on hearing, but do not understand; Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’“ Make the heart of this people dull, And their ears heavy, And shut their eyes; Lest they see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And return and be healed.”

For many will come in My name, saying,‘ I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
