And for this cause God sendeth them a working of error, that they should believe a lie:

上帝就让他们是非不辨，去相信那些虚假的谎言，

因此，神就使错谬的思想运行在他们当中，让他们相信虚谎，

为此，神就把一种迷惑人的力量送进他们里面，使他们相信虚假之事，

故此，神就給他們一個生發錯誤的心，叫他們信從虛謊，

故此，上帝就給他們一個引發錯誤的心，叫他們信從虛謊，

故此，神就給他們一個引發錯誤的心，叫他們信從虛謊，

上帝就讓他們是非不辨，去相信那些虛假的謊言，

因此，神就使錯謬的思想運行在他們當中，讓他們相信虛謊，

為這緣故、上帝就將謬妄「所運用的動力」送在他們身上，使他們信從虛謊，

為此，神就把一種迷惑人的力量送進他們裡面，使他們相信虛假之事，

故上帝施以乖謬、致信誑言、

為此、上帝任其大謬、信諸誑言、

故天主使其大謬、信從虛偽、

既不愛慕真理、天主亦祇得聽其從妄信謊、

For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie

So God will fool them completely. Then they will believe the lie.

Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false,

So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies.

Consequently God sends on them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false.

Because of this, God sends them a working of error, that they should believe a lie;

And even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up unto a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

while they see for thee false visions, while they divine lies unto thee, to lay thee upon the necks of the wicked that are deadly wounded, whose day is come in the time of the iniquity of the end.

And one said on this manner; and another said on that manner.And there came forth a spirit, and stood before Jehovah, and said, I will entice him.And Jehovah said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt entice him, and shalt prevail also: go forth, and do so.

because that, knowing God, they glorified him not as God, neither gave thanks; but became vain in their reasonings, and their senseless heart was darkened.Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,and changed the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four- footed beasts, and creeping things.Wherefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts unto uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves:for that they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

And if the prophet be deceived and speak a word, I, Jehovah, have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.

For our exhortation is not of error, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:

But the Spirit saith expressly, that in later times some shall fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons,

He feedeth on ashes; a deceived heart hath turned him aside; and he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

for they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land, and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish.

Yea, he loved cursing, and it came unto him; And he delighted not in blessing, and it was far from him.

I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did that which was evil in mine eyes, and chose that wherein I delighted not.

And many false prophets shall arise, and shall lead many astray.

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn again, and be healed.

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and shall lead many astray.
