他要差派天使，把他的選民從四方，從地極直到天邊，都招聚來。

我們若信耶穌死了，又復活了，照樣，也應該相信那些靠著耶穌已經睡了的人，神必定把他們和耶穌一同帶來。我們現在照著主的話告訴你們：我們這些活著存留到主再來的人，絕不能在那些睡了的人以先。因為主必親自從天降臨，那時，有發令的聲音，有天使長的呼聲，還有神的號聲，那些在基督裡死了的人必先復活；然後，我們還活著存留的人，必和他們一同被提到雲裡，在空中與主相會。這樣，我們就要和主常常同在。

當號筒發出響聲，他要差派使者，把他的選民從四方，從天這邊到天那邊都招聚來。

我們主耶穌再來的時候，我們在他面前的盼望、喜樂或所誇耀的冠冕是甚麼呢？不就是你們嗎？

我在神面前，並且在那將要審判活人死人的基督耶穌面前，憑著他的顯現和國度叮囑你：

也願他堅定你們的心，好叫你們在我們主耶穌和眾聖徒再來的時候，在我們的父神面前，完全聖潔，無可指摘。

萬族要聚集在他面前，他要把他們彼此分開，好像牧羊人把綿羊和山羊分開一樣：

權杖必不離開猶大，王圭必不離他兩腳之間，直到細羅﹙“細羅”有古譯本作“屬他的那位”﹚來到，萬族都要臣服他。

到了所計劃的時機成熟，就使天上地上的萬有，都在基督裡同歸於一。

所以弟兄們，我憑著神的仁慈勸你們，要把身體獻上，作聖潔而蒙神悅納的活祭；這是你們理所當然的事奉（“理所當然的事奉”或譯：“屬靈的敬拜”）。
