Therefore, among God’s churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring.

且爾等於重重困辱憂患之中、仍能堅忍不拔、篤信不移、此尤為吾儕之所誇耀於天主眾會者也。

So among God’s churches we brag about the fact that you don’t give up easily. We brag about your faith in all the suffering and testing you are going through.

Therefore we ourselves boast about you in the churches of God for your steadfastness and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions that you are enduring.

We proudly tell God’s other churches about your endurance and faithfulness in all the persecutions and hardships you are suffering.

Therefore, we ourselves boast about you among God’s churches— about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and afflictions that you are enduring.

As a result, we ourselves speak proudly of you among the churches of God for your perseverance and faith in the midst of all your persecutions and afflictions which you endure.

so that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which ye endure;

For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of God’s churches in Judea, which are in Christ Jesus: You suffered from your own people the same things those churches suffered from the Jews

For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes? Is it not you?

I had boasted to him about you, and you have not embarrassed me. But just as everything we said to you was true, so our boasting about you to Titus has proved to be true as well.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.

We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

Nevertheless, each person should live as a believer in whatever situation the Lord has assigned to them, just as God has called them. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches.

For if any Macedonians come with me and find you unprepared, we— not to say anything about you— would be ashamed of having been so confident.

May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.

But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.

This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus.

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;perseverance, character; and character, hope.And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;

And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised.

I was afraid that in some way the tempter had tempted you and that our labors might have been in vain.But Timothy has just now come to us from you and has brought good news about your faith and love. He has told us that you always have pleasant memories of us and that you long to see us, just as we also long to see you.Therefore, brothers and sisters, in all our distress and persecution we were encouraged about you because of your faith.For now we really live, since you are standing firm in the Lord.
