這樣，你們的信心經過試驗便顯明是真實的，比那經過火煉仍會壞掉的金子更加寶貴，使你們可以在耶穌基督顯現時得到稱讚、榮耀和尊貴。你們雖然沒有見過基督，卻愛祂；雖然現在看不見祂，卻信祂，並且有無法形容、充滿榮耀的喜樂。

我常常為你們感謝我的上帝，因為祂在基督耶穌裡賜給了你們恩典，

我問候所有住在羅馬、上帝所愛、蒙召做聖徒的人。願我們的父上帝和主耶穌基督賜給你們恩典和平安！

以色列的後裔必被耶和華稱為義人，得到榮耀。

因為你們知道我們主耶穌基督的恩典，祂本來富足，卻為你們的緣故變得貧窮，使你們藉著祂的貧窮可以變得富足。

與祂聯合。我成為義人不是因為遵行律法，而是因為信靠基督。這義從上帝而來，以信為基礎。

亞伯拉罕必成為強盛的大國，世上萬國必因他而蒙福。

使他們都合而為一，正如父你在我裡面，我在你裡面一樣，並且使他們也在我們裡面，好讓世人相信是你差我來的。我又將你賜給我的榮耀賜給他們，使他們像我們一樣合而為一。我在他們裡面，你在我裡面，好使他們也完完全全地合而為一。這樣，世人便知道我是你差來的，而且知道你愛他們，就像愛我一樣。「父啊！我在哪裡，願你賜給我的人也在哪裡，好讓他們看見你賜給我的榮耀，因為在創世以前你已經愛我了。公義的父啊！世界還未認識你以前，我已經認識你了，這些人也知道是你差我來的。我使他們認識了你的名，我還要使他們更認識你，好讓你對我的愛存在他們裡面，我也在他們裡面。」

對耶和華的話心存敬畏的人啊，要聽祂的話：「你們的弟兄憎恨你們，因為我的緣故而棄絕你們，他們譏諷說，『願耶和華得榮耀，我們好看看你們的歡樂！』他們必受羞辱。

但以色列必蒙耶和華拯救，享受永遠的救恩，永遠不會再蒙羞受辱。

因此，上帝將祂升為至尊，賜給祂超乎萬名之上的名，使一切天上的、地上的和地底下的，無不屈膝跪拜在耶穌的名下，無不口稱耶穌基督是主，將榮耀歸於父上帝。

不錯，祂的軟弱之軀曾被釘在十字架上，但如今祂靠上帝的大能活著。我們也跟祂一樣軟弱，但為了你們，我們要靠上帝的大能和祂一同活著。
