Mephibosheth bowed down and said,“ What is your servant that you take an interest in a dead dog like me?”

米非波设再次叩拜，说：“仆人算什么？不过像一条死狗罢了，你竟这样眷顾我！”

米非波设再叩拜说：“仆人算什么？你竟然眷顾我这个像条死狗的人！”

米非波設又叩拜，說：「僕人算甚麼，不過如死狗一般，竟蒙王這樣眷顧！」

米非波設叩拜，說：「你的僕人算甚麼，不過如死狗一般，竟蒙你這樣眷顧！」

米非波設叩拜，說：「你的僕人算甚麼，不過如死狗一般，竟蒙你這樣眷顧！」

米非波設再次叩拜，說：「僕人算什麼？不過像一條死狗罷了，你竟這樣眷顧我！」

米非波設再叩拜說：“僕人算甚麼？你竟然眷顧我這個像條死狗的人！”

米非波設又叩拜說：『僕人算甚麼，王竟垂顧像我這樣的一隻死狗啊！』

米非波設下拜說：「你的僕人算什麼，你竟然眷顧像我這樣一條死狗！」

米非波設拜曰、僕何人斯、若此死犬、而得爾之眷顧乎、

米非波設頓首曰、僕何人斯、與已斃之犬何異、乃蒙爾眷顧若是。

米非波設復拜曰、僕何人斯、與已斃之犬何異、乃蒙王之眷顧如此、

Mephibosheth bowed down and said,“ What is your servant, that you should notice a dead dog like me?”

Mephibosheth bowed down to David. He said,“ Who am I? Why should you pay attention to me? I’m nothing but a dead dog.”

And he paid homage and said,“ What is your servant, that you should show regard for a dead dog such as I?”

Mephibosheth bowed respectfully and exclaimed,“ Who is your servant, that you should show such kindness to a dead dog like me?”

Mephibosheth paid homage and said,“ What is your servant that you take an interest in a dead dog like me?”

Again he prostrated himself, and said,“ What is your servant, that you should be concerned about a dead dog like me?”

Then he bowed himself, and said,“ What is your servant, that you should look upon such a dead dog as I?”

And he did obeisance, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?

And he bowed himself, and said, What[ is] thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I[ am]?

Then Mephibosheth bowed and said,“ Of what importance am I, your servant, that you show regard for a dead dog like me?”

He bowed down, and said,“ What is your servant, that you should look at such a dead dog as I am?”

Then Abishai son of Zeruiah said to the king,“ Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? Let me go over and cut his head off!”

Who has the king of Israel come after? What are you chasing after? A dead dog? A flea?May the Lord be judge and decide between you and me. May He take notice and plead my case and deliver me from you.”

He answered,“ It isn’t right to take the children’s bread and throw it to their dogs.”“ Yes, Lord,” she said,“ yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table!”

Abner was very angry about Ish-bosheth’s accusation.“ Am I a dog’s head who belongs to Judah?” he asked.“ All this time I’ve been loyal to the house of your father Saul, to his brothers, and to his friends and haven’t handed you over to David, but now you accuse me of wrongdoing with this woman!

So don’t let my blood fall to the ground far from the Lord’s presence, for the king of Israel has come out to search for a flea, like one who pursues a partridge in the mountains.”
