David said to him,“ Don’t be afraid, because I will certainly extend kindness to you for the sake of Jonathan your father. You will be a regular guest at my table.”

大卫说：“你不用害怕，我要因为和你父亲约拿单的情义而恩待你。我要把你祖父扫罗所有的田地归还给你，你要常与我同席吃饭。”

大卫对他说：“你不要怕，我必因你父亲约拿单的缘故，以慈爱待你，把你祖父扫罗所有的田地都归还给你；你也可以常常与我同席吃饭。”

大衛對他說：“你不要怕，我必因你父親約拿單的緣故，以慈愛待你，把你祖父掃羅所有的田地都歸還給你；你也可以常常與我同席吃飯。”

大衛對他說：『你不要怕；我一定要因你父親約拿單的緣故以厚愛待你，將你祖父掃羅的一切田地都歸還你；你也可以經常在我席上喫飯。』

大衛對他說：「你不要害怕，我必因你父親約拿單的緣故，以恩慈對待你。我要把你祖父掃羅的所有田地都歸還給你，你要常與我同席吃飯。」

大衛曰、毋懼、我緣爾父約拿單故、必施仁慈於爾、以爾祖掃羅之田、悉反於爾、爾可恆食於我席、

大闢曰、毋畏、我緣爾父約拿單之故、施恩於爾、以祖掃羅之產業、復賜於爾、使爾恆偕我食。

大衛曰、勿懼、我緣爾父約拿單故、施恩於爾、以爾祖掃羅一切田畝、復歸於爾、並使爾恆食於我席、

“ Don’t be afraid,” David said to him,“ for I will surely show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will always eat at my table.”

“ Don’t be afraid,” David told him.“ You can be sure that I will be kind to you because of your father Jonathan. I’ll give back to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul. And I’ll always provide what you need.”

And David said to him,“ Do not fear, for I will show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan, and I will restore to you all the land of Saul your father, and you shall eat at my table always.”

“ Don’t be afraid!” David said.“ I intend to show kindness to you because of my promise to your father, Jonathan. I will give you all the property that once belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will eat here with me at the king’s table!”

“ Don’t be afraid,” David said to him,“ since I intend to show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all your grandfather Saul’s fields, and you will always eat meals at my table.”

Then David said to him,“ Do not be afraid, for I will assuredly show kindness to you for the sake of your father Jonathan, and I will restore to you all the land of your grandfather Saul; and you yourself shall eat at my table regularly.”

So David said to him,“ Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually.”

And David said unto him, Fear not; for I will surely show thee kindness for Jonathan thy father’s sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.

“ Don’t be afraid,” David said to him,“ since I intend to show you kindness because of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all your grandfather Saul’s fields, and you will always eat meals at my table.”

And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father’s sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.

David said to him,“ Don’t be afraid; for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your father. You will eat bread at my table continually.”

Then David asked,“ Is anyone still left from the family of Saul, so that I may extend kindness to him for the sake of Jonathan?”

After all, there was no one in the entire house of my grandfather who did not deserve death from my lord the king. But instead you allowed me to eat at your own table! What further claim do I have to ask the king for anything?”

“ Treat fairly the sons of Barzillai of Gilead and provide for their needs, because they helped me when I had to flee from your brother Absalom.

The king asked,“ Is there not someone left from Saul’s family, that I may extend God’s kindness to him?” Ziba said to the king,“ One of Jonathan’s sons is left; both of his feet are crippled.”

Jehoiachin took off his prison clothes and ate daily in the king’s presence for the rest of his life.

All the people said to Samuel,“ Pray to the LORD your God on behalf of us– your servants– so we won’t die, for we have added to all our sins by asking for a king.”Then Samuel said to the people,“ Don’t be afraid. You have indeed sinned. However, don’t turn aside from the LORD. Serve the LORD with all your heart.

Then the woman, with fear and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before him and told him the whole truth.He said to her,“ Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your disease.”

Give us today our daily bread,

Boaz replied to her,“ I have been given a full report of all that you have done for your mother-in-law following the death of your husband– how you left your father and your mother, as well as your homeland, and came to live among people you did not know previously.May the LORD reward your efforts! May your acts of kindness be repaid fully by the LORD God of Israel, from whom you have sought protection!”

However, fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with all your heart. Just look at the great things he has done for you!

Even my close friend whom I trusted, he who shared meals with me, has turned against me.

So the king said to Barzillai,“ Cross over with me, and I will take care of you while you are with me in Jerusalem.”

Strengthen the hands that have gone limp, steady the knees that shake!Tell those who panic,“ Be strong! Do not fear! Look, your God comes to avenge! With divine retribution he comes to deliver you.”

But she was greatly troubled by his words and began to wonder about the meaning of this greeting.So the angel said to her,“ Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God!

Those who have been killed by the LORD at that time will be scattered from one end of the earth to the other. They will not be mourned over, gathered up, or buried. Their dead bodies will lie scattered over the ground like manure.Wail and cry out in anguish, you rulers! Roll in the dust, you who shepherd flocks of people! The time for you to be slaughtered has come. You will lie scattered and fallen like broken pieces of fine pottery.

May the Lord grant mercy to the family of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my imprisonment.But when he arrived in Rome, he eagerly searched for me and found me.May the Lord grant him to find mercy from the Lord on that day! But the men were afraid when they were brought to Joseph’s house. They said,“ We are being brought in because of the money that was returned in our sacks last time. He wants to capture us, make us slaves, and take our donkeys!”

I gave you your master’s house, and put your master’s wives into your arms. I also gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if all that somehow seems insignificant, I would have given you so much more as well!

that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Listen! I am standing at the door and knocking! If anyone hears my voice and opens the door I will come into his home and share a meal with him, and he with me.
