When Mephibosheth son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David, he bowed down to pay him honor. David said,“ Mephibosheth!”“ At your service,” he replied.

Mephibosheth came to David. He was the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul. Mephibosheth bowed down to David to show him respect. David said,“ Mephibosheth!”“ I’m ready to serve you,” he replied.

And Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan, son of Saul, came to David and fell on his face and paid homage. And David said,“ Mephibosheth!” And he answered,“ Behold, I am your servant.”

His name was Mephibosheth; he was Jonathan’s son and Saul’s grandson. When he came to David, he bowed low to the ground in deep respect. David said,“ Greetings, Mephibosheth.” Mephibosheth replied,“ I am your servant.”

Mephibosheth son of Jonathan son of Saul came to David, fell facedown, and paid homage. David said,“ Mephibosheth!”“ I am your servant,” he replied.

Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, came to David and fell on his face and prostrated himself. And David said,“ Mephibosheth.” And he said,“ Here is your servant!”

Now when Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, had come to David, he fell on his face and prostrated himself. Then David said,“ Mephibosheth?” And he answered,“ Here is your servant!”

And Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came unto David, and fell on his face, and did obeisance. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold, thy servant!

王對洗巴說：『看哪，凡屬米非波設的都歸你了。』洗巴說：『我敬叩拜謝恩；我主我王啊，願我在你面前蒙恩。』

掃羅的孫子米非波設也下去迎接王；他自從王出走的日子、到王平平安安回來的日子，都沒有修腳，沒有修鬍鬚，也沒有洗衣服。他從耶路撒冷來迎接王的時候，王問他說：『米非波設，你為甚麼沒有和我一同去呢？』他回答說：『我主我王，我的僕人哄騙了我了；因為你僕人吩咐他說：「給我豫備好了一匹驢，我好騎上，跟王一同去」；因為你僕人瘸腿；無奈他竟哄騙了我。他又向我主我王讒毁了你僕人；然而我主我王如同上帝的使者一般。如今你看怎樣好，就怎樣行吧。因為我祖我父全家在我主我王面前不過是該死的人；王卻使僕人列在王席上喫飯的人中間。我還有甚麼權利再向王哀呼呢？』王對他說：『你何必再說起你的事來呢？我告訴你說吧：『你和洗巴要平分地土呢。』米非波設對王說：『我主我王既平平安安地回宮，就讓洗巴都取好啦。』

亞比該一見大衛，便急忙下驢，在大衛面前臉伏於地而叩拜。

他自己卻在他們前面過去，一連七次地下拜在地上，直到挨近他哥哥。

亞伯拉罕舉目觀看，忽見三個人在他對面站着；亞伯拉罕一看見，就從帳棚口跑去迎接他們，在地上下拜，

僮僕一去，大衛就從石頭堆南邊起來，面伏於地，連拜三次；二人互相親嘴，彼此哭泣；大衛哭的更悲慘。
