When Mephibosheth son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David, he bowed down to pay him honor. David said,“ Mephibosheth!”“ At your service,” he replied.

Mephibosheth came to David. He was the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul. Mephibosheth bowed down to David to show him respect. David said,“ Mephibosheth!”“ I’m ready to serve you,” he replied.

And Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan, son of Saul, came to David and fell on his face and paid homage. And David said,“ Mephibosheth!” And he answered,“ Behold, I am your servant.”

His name was Mephibosheth; he was Jonathan’s son and Saul’s grandson. When he came to David, he bowed low to the ground in deep respect. David said,“ Greetings, Mephibosheth.” Mephibosheth replied,“ I am your servant.”

Mephibosheth son of Jonathan son of Saul came to David, fell facedown, and paid homage. David said,“ Mephibosheth!”“ I am your servant,” he replied.

Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, came to David and fell on his face and prostrated himself. And David said,“ Mephibosheth.” And he said,“ Here is your servant!”

Now when Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, had come to David, he fell on his face and prostrated himself. Then David said,“ Mephibosheth?” And he answered,“ Here is your servant!”

And Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came unto David, and fell on his face, and did obeisance. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold, thy servant!

掃羅的孫子米非波設也下去迎接王；自從王走的那天起，直到王平安回來這天，他沒有修腳，沒有修剪鬍子，也沒有洗衣服。他從耶路撒冷來迎接王的時候，王問他：「米非波設，你為什麼沒有與我一同離開呢？」他回答：「我主我王啊，你僕人本來說『我要給驢子備好鞍，騎上驢子與王一同離開』，因為你僕人是瘸腿的；可是我的僕人欺騙了我！他又向我主我王誹謗了你僕人。然而我主我王像神的使者一樣，你看怎樣好就怎樣做吧！我父的全家，本來就在我主我王面前什麼都不是，只不過是該死之人，你卻把僕人安排在你筵席上吃飯的人當中。我還有什麼權利向王呼求更多呢？」王就對他說：「何必再提你那些事呢？我已經定了：你和洗巴平分田地。」米非波設對王說：「既然我主我王平安回宮，就是洗巴全部拿去也好。」

婭比蓋看見大衛，就趕快從驢子上下來，在大衛面前臉伏於地下拜。

而他自己在他們前面先過去，七次俯伏於地，直到臨近他哥哥。
