He put garrisons in the Aramean kingdom of Damascus, and the Arameans became subject to him and brought tribute. The Lord gave David victory wherever he went.

He stationed some soldiers in the Aramean kingdom of Damascus. The people of Aram were brought under his rule. They gave him the gifts he required them to bring him. The Lord helped David win his battles everywhere he went.

Then David put garrisons in Aram of Damascus, and the Syrians became servants to David and brought tribute. And the Lord gave victory to David wherever he went.

Then he placed several army garrisons in Damascus, the Aramean capital, and the Arameans became David’s subjects and paid him tribute money. So the Lord made David victorious wherever he went.

你無論往哪裏去，我常與你同在，剪除你的一切仇敵。我必使你得大名，好像世上大大有名的人一樣。

約拿單攻擊在迦巴的非利士人的防營，非利士人聽見了。掃羅就在遍地吹角，意思說，要使希伯來人聽見。

約拿單對拿兵器的少年人說：「我們不如過到未受割禮人的防營那裏去，或者耶和華為我們施展能力；因為耶和華使人得勝，不在乎人多人少。」

凡投靠你的，願他們喜樂，時常歡呼，因為你護庇他們；又願那愛你名的人都靠你歡欣。因為你必賜福與義人；耶和華啊，你必用恩惠如同盾牌四面護衛他。

耶和華要保護你，免受一切的災害；他要保護你的性命。你出你入，耶和華要保護你，從今時直到永遠。

他教導我的手能以爭戰，甚至我的膀臂能開銅弓。你把你的救恩給我作盾牌；你的右手扶持我；你的溫和使我為大。你使我腳下的地步寬闊；我的腳未曾滑跌。我要追趕我的仇敵，並要追上他們；不將他們滅絕，我總不歸回。我要打傷他們，使他們不能起來；他們必倒在我的腳下。因為你曾以力量束我的腰，使我能爭戰；你也使那起來攻擊我的都服在我以下。你又使我的仇敵在我面前轉背逃跑，叫我能以剪除那恨我的人。他們呼求，卻無人拯救；就是呼求耶和華，他也不應允。我搗碎他們，如同風前的灰塵，倒出他們，如同街上的泥土。你救我脫離百姓的爭競，立我作列國的元首；我素不認識的民必事奉我。他們一聽見我的名聲就必順從我；外邦人要投降我。外邦人要衰殘，戰戰兢兢地出他們的營寨。耶和華是活神。願我的磐石被人稱頌；願救我的神被人尊崇。

大衛在以東地設立防營，以東人就都歸服他。大衛無論往哪裏去，耶和華都使他得勝。

馬是為打仗之日預備的；得勝乃在乎耶和華。

有一日，掃羅的兒子約拿單對拿他兵器的少年人說：「我們不如過到那邊，到非利士人的防營那裏去。」但他沒有告訴父親。

於是在營中、在田野、在眾民內都有戰兢，防兵和掠兵也都戰兢，地也震動，戰兢之勢甚大。

現在你們可以照心願而行。因為耶和華曾論到大衛說：『我必藉我僕人大衛的手，救我民以色列脫離非利士人和眾仇敵的手。』」

耶和華－我的磐石是應當稱頌的！他教導我的手爭戰，教導我的指頭打仗。他是我慈愛的主，我的山寨，我的高臺，我的救主，我的盾牌，是我所投靠的；他使我的百姓服在我以下。

安置軍兵在猶大一切堅固城裏，又安置防兵在猶大地和他父亞撒所得以法蓮的城邑中。

主－耶和華、我救恩的力量啊，在爭戰的日子，你遮蔽了我的頭。

又攻打摩押人，使他們躺臥在地上，用繩量一量：量二繩的殺了，量一繩的存留。摩押人就歸服大衛，給他進貢。

那時大衛在山寨，非利士人的防營在伯利恆。
