就在那時候，耶和華與亞伯蘭立約說：“我已經把這地賜給你的後裔了，就是從埃及河直到幼發拉底河之地；

我要限定你的境界，從紅海直到非利士海，從曠野直到大河。我要把那地的居民交在你手中，你要把他們從你面前驅逐出去。

他要執掌權柄，從這海到那海，從大河直到地極。

你們腳掌所踏的地，都必屬於你們；從曠野到黎巴嫩，從幼發拉底河直到西海，都要作你們的境界。
