Now therefore tell my servant David this,‘ Yahweh of Armies says,“ I took you from the sheep pen, from following the sheep, to be prince over my people, over Israel.

“现在，你要告诉我仆人大卫，说万军之耶和华如此说：‘我从羊圈中将你召来，叫你不再跟从羊群，立你作我民以色列的君。

现在，你要对我仆人大卫这样说：‘万军之耶和华如此说：我从羊圈中将你召来，叫你不再牧放羊群，立你作我百姓以色列的君王。

现在，你要对我仆人大卫这样说：‘万军之耶和华如此说：我从羊圈中将你召来，叫你不再牧放羊群，立你作我百姓以色列的君王。

“现在你要告诉我的仆人大卫，万军之耶和华说，‘你原本在草场牧羊，我召你来做我以色列子民的首领。

现在你要对我的仆人大卫这样说：‘万军之耶和华这样说：我把你从牧场中、从照顾羊群的工作中拣选出来，使你作我子民以色列的领袖，

「現在你要告訴我的僕人大衛，萬軍之耶和華說，『你原本在草場牧羊，我召你來做我以色列子民的首領。

現在你要對我的僕人大衛這樣說：‘萬軍之耶和華這樣說：我把你從牧場中、從照顧羊群的工作中揀選出來，使你作我子民以色列的領袖，

現在你要對我僕人大衛這樣說：「萬軍之永恆主這麼說：我將你從羊圈中、從趕羊羣的事上選取了來，讓你做人君來管理我人民以色列。

「現在，你要對我的僕人大衛這樣說：『萬軍之耶和華如此說：是我把你從牧場上、從羊群後帶出來，作我子民以色列的領袖。

故當謂我僕大衛曰、萬軍之耶和華云、我自羊牢中、羊羣後、取爾為我民以色列之君、

今當告我僕大闢、萬有之主耶和華云、昔爾在羊牢牧羊、我特遴選爾、使為我民以色列族長。

今當告我僕大衛曰、萬有之主如是云、昔我自羊牢中、自羊群後召爾、立為我民以色列之君、

“ Now then, tell my servant David,‘ This is what the Lord Almighty says: I took you from the pasture, from tending the flock, and appointed you ruler over my people Israel.

“ So tell my servant David,‘ The Lord who rules over all says,“ I took you away from the grasslands. That’s where you were taking care of your father’s sheep and goats. I made you ruler over my people Israel.

Now, therefore, thus you shall say to my servant David,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts, I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, that you should be prince over my people Israel.

“ Now go and say to my servant David,‘ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies has declared: I took you from tending sheep in the pasture and selected you to be the leader of my people Israel.

“ So now this is what you are to say to my servant David:‘ This is what the LORD of Armies says: I took you from the pasture, from tending the flock, to be ruler over my people Israel.

Now then, this is what you shall say to My servant David:‘ This is what the Lord of armies says:“ I Myself took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, to be leader over My people Israel.

Now therefore, thus shall you say to My servant David,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts:“ I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people, over Israel.

Now therefore thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, that thou shouldest be prince over my people, over Israel;

“ Now this is what you are to say to My servant David:‘ This is what the Lord of Hosts says: I took you from the pasture and from following the sheep to be ruler over My people Israel.

Now therefore so shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people, over Israel:

“ So now, say this to my servant David:‘ This is what the LORD of hosts says: I took you from the pasture and from your work as a shepherd to make you leader of my people Israel.

David said to Michal,“ It was before Yahweh, who chose me above your father, and above all his house, to appoint me prince over the people of Yahweh, over Israel. Therefore I will celebrate before Yahweh.

Samuel said to Jesse,“ Are all your children here?” He said,“ There remains yet the youngest. Behold, he is keeping the sheep.” Samuel said to Jesse,“ Send and get him, for we will not sit down until he comes here.”He sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with a handsome face and good appearance. Yahweh said,“ Arise! Anoint him, for this is he.”

Nathan said to David,“ You are the man. This is what Yahweh, the God of Israel, says:‘ I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul.

“ Now therefore, you shall tell my servant David,‘ Yahweh of Armies says,“ I took you from the sheep pen, from following the sheep, to be prince over my people Israel.

“ Tomorrow about this time I will send you a man out of the land of Benjamin, and you shall anoint him to be prince over my people Israel. He will save my people out of the hand of the Philistines; for I have looked upon my people, because their cry has come to me.”

Then Samuel took the vial of oil, and poured it on his head, and kissed him, and said,“ Hasn’t Yahweh anointed you to be prince over his inheritance?

He also chose David his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds;from following the ewes that have their young, he brought him to be the shepherd of Jacob, his people, and Israel, his inheritance.
