For the sake of your word and according to your will, you have done this great thing and made it known to your servant.

You have done a wonderful thing. You have made it known to me. You have done it because that’s what you said you would do. It’s exactly what you wanted to do for me.

Because of your promise, and according to your own heart, you have brought about all this greatness, to make your servant know it.

“你们这一小群人啊，不要怕！因为你们的天父乐意把祂的国赐给你们。

父啊，是的，这正是你的美意。

祂怜悯我们的祖先，持守自己的圣约，

上帝并非世人，祂不撒谎；上帝不是凡人，祂不反悔。祂言出必行，信守承诺。

我是按上帝旨意蒙召做基督耶稣使徒的保罗，同所提尼弟兄，

照着祂在基督里所定的美好计划叫我们知道祂旨意的奥秘，

“我快要走完人世的路程了。你们深知你们的上帝耶和华赐给你们的一切美好应许没有一句落空，都已经应验了。正如你们的上帝耶和华已成就祂应许给你们的一切福气，如果你们违背祂，祂必照样降各样灾祸给你们，直到把你们从祂所赐的这美好土地上毁灭。

就在这时候，耶稣受圣灵感动，充满喜乐地说：“父啊，天地的主，我颂赞你！因为你把这些事向聪明、有学问的人隐藏起来，却启示给像孩童一般的人。父啊！是的，这正是你的美意。

这是上帝万世以前在我们主基督耶稣里定好的计划。

耶和华啊，不要将荣耀归于我们，不要归于我们。愿荣耀归于你的名，因为你慈爱、信实！

我要向你的圣殿下拜，称谢你的名，因为你是慈爱信实的，你显明自己的尊名和应许伟大无比。

你们能占领他们的土地并非因为你们公义、行为正直。你们的上帝耶和华从你们面前赶走那些民族，是因为他们邪恶，也是为了实现祂给你们祖先亚伯拉罕、以撒和雅各的誓言。

祂扶助了自己的仆人以色列，祂要施怜悯给亚伯拉罕和他的子孙，直到永远，正如祂对我们祖先的应许。”

天地都要过去，但我的话永远长存。
