That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains.

那时，王对先知拿单说：“看哪，我住在香柏木的宫中，神的约柜反在幔子里。”

王对拿单先知说：“你看，我住在香柏木的宫中，上帝的约柜却停在幔子里。”

王对拿单先知说：“你看，我住在香柏木的宫中，神的约柜却停在幔子里。”

一天，王对拿单先知说：“你看！我住在香柏木造的王宫中，但上帝的约柜还留在帐篷里。”

王对拿单先知说：“你看！我自己住在香柏木的宫里，耶和华的约柜却停在帐幕内。”

那時，王對先知拿單說：「看哪，我住在香柏木的宮中，神的約櫃反在幔子裏。」

王對拿單先知說：「你看，我住在香柏木的宮中，上帝的約櫃卻停在幔子裏。」

王對拿單先知說：「你看，我住在香柏木的宮中，神的約櫃卻停在幔子裏。」

一天，王對拿單先知說：「你看！我住在香柏木造的王宮中，但上帝的約櫃還留在帳篷裡。」

王對拿單先知說：“你看！我自己住在香柏木的宮裡，耶和華的約櫃卻停在帳幕內。”

王對神言人拿單說：『你看我，我住在香柏木的宮殿，而上帝的櫃反而住在幔子中間。』

王對先知拿單說：「你看，如今我住在香柏木的宮殿裡，神的約櫃卻在帳幕裡。」

王謂先知拿單曰、我居香柏之室、而上帝之匱乃在帳中、

諭先知拿單曰、我居之宮、以柏香木創造、而上帝之匱、反在幔中。

謂先知拿單曰、我居柏香木宮中、而天主之匱、反在在原文作居帷幔內、

he said to Nathan the prophet,“ Here I am, living in a house of cedar, while the ark of God remains in a tent.”

Then the king spoke to Nathan the prophet. He said,“ Here I am, living in a house that has beautiful cedar walls. But the ark of God remains in a tent.”

the king said to Nathan the prophet,“ See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells in a tent.”

the king summoned Nathan the prophet.“ Look,” David said,“ I am living in a beautiful cedar palace, but the Ark of God is out there in a tent!”

the king said to the prophet Nathan,“ Look, I am living in a cedar house while the ark of God sits inside tent curtains.”

that the king said to Nathan the prophet,“ See now, I live in a house of cedar, but the ark of God remains within the tent.”

that the king said to Nathan the prophet,“ See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells inside tent curtains.”

that the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains.

the king said to Nathan the prophet,“ Look, I am living in a cedar house while the ark of God sits inside tent curtains.”

The king said to Nathan the prophet,“ Look! I am living in a palace made from cedar, while the ark of God sits in the middle of a tent.”

the king said to Nathan the prophet,“ See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but God’s ark dwells within curtains.”

And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters, and masons: and they built David an house.

And the LORD sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor.

Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.

[ Is it] time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house[ lie] waste?

And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle[ with] ten curtains[ of] fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet:[ with] cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them.The length of one curtain[ shall be] eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and every one of the curtains shall have one measure.The five curtains shall be coupled together one to another; and[ other] five curtains[ shall be] coupled one to another.And thou shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and likewise shalt thou make in the uttermost edge of[ another] curtain, in the coupling of the second.Fifty loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make in the edge of the curtain that[ is] in the coupling of the second; that the loops may take hold one of another.And thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle.And thou shalt make curtains[ of] goats’[ hair] to be a covering upon the tabernacle: eleven curtains shalt thou make.The length of one curtain[ shall be] thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and the eleven curtains[ shall be all] of one measure.And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tabernacle.And thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain[ that is] outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second.And thou shalt make fifty taches of brass, and put the taches into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one.And the remnant that remaineth of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle.And a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it.And thou shalt make a covering for the tent[ of] rams’ skins dyed red, and a covering above[ of] badgers’ skins.

Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they[ are] written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer,

So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.

But the ark of God had David brought up from Kirjathjearim to[ the place which] David had prepared for it: for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem.

Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong;[ that] useth his neighbour’s service without wages, and giveth him not for his work;That saith, I will build me a wide house and large chambers, and cutteth him out windows; and[ it is] cieled with cedar, and painted with vermilion.Shalt thou reign, because thou closest[ thyself] in cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice,[ and] then[ it was] well with him?

Now Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and timber of cedars, with masons and carpenters, to build him an house.

Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty[ God] of Jacob.

According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.

And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.

And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.
