爾當心知主爾之天主督責爾、如人督責其子、

主曰、我護祐爾、拯救爾、我散爾於列邦、雖盡滅此邦、而不盡滅爾、雖不以爾為無罪、我仍責爾惟寛、○

爾曹又遺忘勸爾如子之言曰、我子、主懲爾、勿藐視、主責爾、勿喪膽、蓋主懲其所愛者、撲其所納之子、爾若受懲、則是天主待爾如子、焉有父而不懲其子者乎、眾既受懲、爾若不受懲、則為私子、非嫡子也、生我身之父、懲我而我敬之、況賦畀我神之父、豈不更當服之以致得永生乎、生我身之父、暫時任意懲我、惟賦畀我神之父懲我、乃為我之益、使我成聖、可同於彼、凡懲責、受之時不為樂、乃為憂、後必為由懲責得練達者、結善義平康之果、

天主所懲者、是人有福、全能者譴責爾、爾毋輕視、

自天有聲云、此乃我愛子、我所喜悅者也、

蒙主督責、復蒙主訓以律法者、斯人乃為有福、在患難時、主必使之平安、待至為惡人挖掘坑坎、
