I will be his father, and he will be my son. When he does wrong, I will punish him with a rod wielded by men, with floggings inflicted by human hands.

我寻得我的仆人大卫，用我的圣膏膏他。我的手必使他坚立；我的膀臂也必坚固他。仇敌必不勒索他；凶恶之子也不苦害他。我要在他面前打碎他的敌人，击杀那恨他的人。只是我的信实和我的慈爱要与他同在；因我的名，他的角必被高举。我要使他的左手伸到海上，右手伸到河上。他要称呼我说：‘你是我的父，是我的神，是拯救我的磐石。’我也要立他为长子，为世上最高的君王。我要为他存留我的慈爱，直到永远；我与他立的约必要坚定。我也要使他的后裔存到永远，使他的宝座如天之久。“倘若他的子孙离弃我的律法，不照我的典章行，背弃我的律例，不遵守我的诫命，我就要用杖责罚他们的过犯，用鞭责罚他们的罪孽。只是我必不将我的慈爱全然收回，也必不叫我的信实废弃。我必不背弃我的约，也不改变我口中所出的。我一次指着自己的圣洁起誓：我决不向大卫说谎！他的后裔要存到永远；他的宝座在我面前如日之恒一般，又如月亮永远坚立，如天上确实的见证。”细拉

你当心里思想，耶和华你神管教你，好像人管教儿子一样。

因我与你同在，要拯救你，也要将所赶散你到的那些国灭绝净尽，却不将你灭绝净尽，倒要从宽惩治你，万不能不罚你。这是耶和华说的。”

你们又忘了那劝你们如同劝儿子的话，说：“我儿，你不可轻看主的管教，被他责备的时候也不可灰心。因为主所爱的，他必管教，又鞭打凡所收纳的儿子。”你们所忍受的，是神管教你们，待你们如同待儿子。焉有儿子不被父亲管教的呢？管教原是众子所共受的。你们若不受管教，就是私子，不是儿子了。再者，我们曾有生身的父管教我们，我们尚且敬重他，何况万灵的父，我们岂不更当顺服他得生吗？生身的父都是暂随己意管教我们；惟有万灵的父管教我们，是要我们得益处，使我们在他的圣洁上有份。凡管教的事，当时不觉得快乐，反觉得愁苦；后来却为那经练过的人结出平安的果子，就是义。

“神所惩治的人是有福的！所以你不可轻看全能者的管教。

从天上有声音说：“这是我的爱子，我所喜悦的。”

耶和华啊，你所管教、用律法所教训的人是有福的！你使他在遭难的日子得享平安；惟有恶人陷在所挖的坑中。

我儿，你不可轻看耶和华的管教，也不可厌烦他的责备；因为耶和华所爱的，他必责备，正如父亲责备所喜爱的儿子。
