Then David returned to bless his household. Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said,“ How glorious the king of Israel was today, who uncovered himself today in the eyes of his servants’ maids, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!”

大衛回去要祝福自己的家人時，掃羅的女兒米甲出來迎接大衛，她說：「今天以色列王多麼光彩啊！竟然在臣僕們的婢女眼前露體，如同一個下賤人赤身露體。」

大衛歸、為眷聚祝嘏、掃羅女米甲出迓曰、今日以色列王、何其榮哉、於臣僕之婢前露體、若鄙夫之無恥、

大闢歸、為眷聚祝嘏、掃羅女米甲出迓、曰、今日以色列王、弛解其衣、若遊蕩之徒、既臣僕之婢、亦所目睹、安得為榮乎。

When David returned home to bless his household, Michal daughter of Saul came out to meet him and said,“ How the king of Israel has distinguished himself today, going around half- naked in full view of the slave girls of his servants as any vulgar fellow would!”

David returned home to bless his family. Saul’s daughter Michal came out to meet him. She said,“ You are the king of Israel. You have really brought honor to yourself today, haven’t you? You have gone around half- naked right in front of the female slaves of your officials. You acted like a fool!”

And David returned to bless his household. But Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David and said,“ How the king of Israel honored himself today, uncovering himself today before the eyes of his servants’ female servants, as one of the vulgar fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!”

When David returned home to bless his own family, Michal, the daughter of Saul, came out to meet him. She said in disgust,“ How distinguished the king of Israel looked today, shamelessly exposing himself to the servant girls like any vulgar person might do!”

When David returned home to bless his household, Saul’s daughter Michal came out to meet him.“ How the king of Israel honored himself today!” she said.“ He exposed himself today in the sight of the slave girls of his subjects like a vulgar person would expose himself.”

But when David returned to bless his own household, Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David and said,“ How the king of Israel dignified himself today! For he exposed himself today in the sight of his servants’ female slaves, as one of the rabble shamelessly exposes himself!”

Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said,“ How glorious was the king of Israel today, uncovering himself today in the eyes of the maids of his servants, as one of the base fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!”

Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to- day, who uncovered himself to- day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself!

When David returned home to bless his household, Saul’s daughter Michal came out to meet him.“ How the king of Israel honored himself today!” she said.“ He exposed himself today in the sight of the slave girls of his subjects like a vulgar person would expose himself.”

Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself!

When David went home to pronounce a blessing on his own house, Michal, Saul’s daughter, came out to meet him. She said,“ How the king of Israel has distinguished himself this day! He has exposed himself today before his servants’ slave girls the way a vulgar fool might do!”

As Yahweh’s ark came into David’s city, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out through the window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before Yahweh; and she despised him in her heart.

David danced before Yahweh with all his might; and David was clothed in a linen ephod.

They gave him seventy pieces of silver out of the house of Baal Berith, with which Abimelech hired vain and reckless fellows who followed him.

but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men.And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross.

We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You have honor, but we have dishonor.Even to this present hour we hunger, thirst, are naked, are beaten, and have no certain dwelling place.We toil, working with our own hands. When people curse us, we bless. Being persecuted, we endure.Being defamed, we entreat. We are made as the filth of the world, the dirt wiped off by all, even until now.

When David had finished offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Yahweh of Armies.

Then he came to Simon Peter. He said to him,“ Lord, do you wash my feet?”

Now Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and he said,“ What they are building, if a fox climbed up it, he would break down their stone wall.”“ Hear, our God; for we are despised. Turn back their reproach on their own head. Give them up for a plunder in a land of captivity.

For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no good looks or majesty. When we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we didn’t respect him.

He went there to Naioth in Ramah. Then God’s Spirit came on him also, and he went on, and prophesied, until he came to Naioth in Ramah.He also stripped off his clothes, and he also prophesied before Samuel, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Therefore they say,“ Is Saul also among the prophets?”

If it seems evil to you to serve Yahweh, choose today whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh.”

For I have known him, to the end that he may command his children and his household after him, that they may keep the way of Yahweh, to do righteousness and justice; to the end that Yahweh may bring on Abraham that which he has spoken of him.”

I will be careful to live a blameless life. When will you come to me? I will walk within my house with a blameless heart.

All the people departed, each man to his house; and David returned to bless his house.

I will extol you, Yahweh, for you have raised me up, and have not made my foes to rejoice over me.

Because for your sake, I have borne reproach. Shame has covered my face.I have become a stranger to my brothers, an alien to my mother’s children.For the zeal of your house consumes me. The reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.

They are children of fools, yes, children of wicked men. They were flogged out of the land.

When his friends heard it, they went out to seize him; for they said,“ He is insane.”
