He and all his men went to Baalah in Judah to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the Name, the name of the Lord Almighty, who is enthroned between the cherubim on the ark.

He and all his men went to Baalah in Judah. They wanted to bring the ark of God up to Jerusalem from there. The ark is named after the Lord. He is the Lord who rules over all. He sits on his throne between the cherubim that are on the ark.

And David arose and went with all the people who were with him from Baale-judah to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the Lord of hosts who sits enthroned on the cherubim.

He led them to Baalah of Judah to bring back the Ark of God, which bears the name of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, who is enthroned between the cherubim.

以色列的牧者啊！帶領約瑟好像帶領羊群的啊！求你留心聽；坐在基路伯上面的啊！求你顯出榮光。

基列．耶琳人就前來，把耶和華的約櫃抬上去；他們把它抬到山上亞比拿達的家中，又把他的兒子以利亞撒分別為聖，看守耶和華的約櫃。

於是大衛把以色列眾人，從埃及的西曷河直到哈馬口，都招聚來，要把神的約櫃從基列．耶琳運來。大衛和以色列眾人去到巴拉，就是屬猶大的基列．耶琳，要從那裡把神的約櫃運回來；這約櫃是以坐在二基路伯上面的耶和華而起名的。

你要用黃金錘成兩個基路伯，放在施恩座的兩端。這端做個基路伯，那端做個基路伯，二基路伯要與施恩座連在一起製造，在施恩座的兩端。二基路伯要在上面展開雙翼，遮掩施恩座，基路伯的臉要彼此相對，他們的臉要朝著施恩座。你要把施恩座安放在櫃頂，又要把我賜給你的法版放在櫃裡。我要在那裡和你相會，也要從施恩座上面，從二基路伯之間，告訴你一切我命令你傳給以色列人的事。

他們蒙了啟示，為這些事效力，並不是為自己，而是為你們。現在，藉著傳福音給你們的人，靠著從天上差來的聖靈，把這些事傳給了你們；甚至天使也很想詳細察看這些事。

我們的救贖主，他的名字是萬軍之耶和華、以色列的聖者，他說：

因為造你的，就是你的丈夫；萬軍之耶和華是他的名；救贖你的，就是以色列的聖者；他被稱為全地的神。

祭司把耶和華的約櫃抬進內殿為它預備的地方，就是至聖所，放在兩個基路伯的翅膀底下。因為基路伯展開翅膀在約櫃所在地的上面，遮掩約櫃和抬櫃的槓。

這以色列婦人的兒子褻瀆耶和華的名，咒詛耶和華的名，人就把他帶到摩西那裡。（他母親名叫示羅密，是但支派底伯利的女兒。）他們拘留看守那人，等候耶和華給他們的指示。耶和華對摩西說：“把那咒詛聖名的人拉出營外，聽見的人都按手在他頭上。然後全體會眾要扔石頭打死他。你要告訴以色列人：咒詛神的，必擔當自己的罪。褻瀆耶和華聖名的人，必被處死，全體會眾要扔石頭打他；不論是寄居的外人或是本地人，如果褻瀆聖名，必被處死。

又從山頂轉到尼弗多亞的水泉，伸展到以弗崙山的眾城；又轉到巴拉，巴拉就是基列．耶琳；又從巴拉向西繞到西珥山，經過耶琳山坡的北邊，耶琳就是基撒崙；又下到伯．示麥，經過亭納；

又有基列．巴力（基列．巴力就是基列．耶琳）、拉巴，共兩座城，還有屬於這些城的村莊。
