只是神的约柜，大卫已经从基列耶琳搬到他所预备的地方，因他曾在耶路撒冷为约柜支搭了帐幕，

王和以色列众民一同在耶和华面前献祭。所罗门向耶和华献平安祭，用牛二万二千，羊十二万。这样，王和以色列众民为耶和华的殿行奉献之礼。当日，王因耶和华殿前的铜坛太小，容不下燔祭、素祭，和平安祭牲的脂油，便将耶和华殿前院子当中分别为圣，在那里献燔祭、素祭，和平安祭牲的脂油。那时，所罗门和以色列众人，就是从哈马口直到埃及小河所有的以色列人，都聚集成为大会，在耶和华我们的神面前守节七日又七日，共十四日。

所罗门王和聚集到他那里的以色列全会众，一同在约柜前献牛羊为祭，多得不可胜数。

耶和华啊，求你兴起，和你有能力的约柜同入安息之所！

所罗门王用牛二万二千，羊十二万献祭。这样，王和众民为神的殿行奉献之礼。祭司侍立，各供其职；利未人也拿着耶和华的乐器，就是大卫王造出来、藉利未人颂赞耶和华的。（他的慈爱永远长存！）祭司在众人面前吹号，以色列人都站立。所罗门因他所造的铜坛容不下燔祭、素祭，和脂油，便将耶和华殿前院子当中分别为圣，在那里献燔祭和平安祭牲的脂油。

众人将神的约柜请进去，安放在大卫所搭的帐幕里，就在神面前献燔祭和平安祭。

以色列的祭司和利未人，并其余被掳归回的人都欢欢喜喜地行奉献神殿的礼。行奉献神殿的礼就献公牛一百只，公绵羊二百只，绵羊羔四百只，又照以色列支派的数目献公山羊十二只，为以色列众人作赎罪祭；

所罗门王和聚集到他那里的以色列全会众都在约柜前献牛羊为祭，多得不可胜数。
