And king Solomon and all the congregation of Israel, that were assembled unto him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that could not be counted nor numbered for multitude.

Arise, O Jehovah, into thy resting- place; Thou, and the ark of thy strength.

So the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.And the priests stood, according to their offices; the Levites also with instruments of music of Jehovah, which David the king had made to give thanks unto Jehovah( for his lovingkindness endureth for ever), when David praised by their ministry: and the priests sounded trumpets before them; and all Israel stood.Moreover Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that was before the house of Jehovah; for there he offered the burnt- offerings, and the fat of the peace- offerings, because the brazen altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt- offering, and the meal- offering, and the fat.

And the children of Israel, the priests and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy.And they offered at the dedication of this house of God a hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sin- offering for all Israel, twelve he- goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.
